Pullman Maldives Maamutaa, All-Inclusive Resort 5 звезды

We spent 5 nights at the Pullman Maldives and fell in love with it! Having spent nights in both a beach villa and an ocean villa, we enjoyed the different experiences that each villa offered. The facilities are well maintained across the resort and the staff are so friendly and eager to assist. The beaches are clean and picturesque and the reef is amazing! Great food and drink options available too at the restaurants and bars at this resort. We didn't sign up for too many organized trips/activities but spent our time instead snorkeling and enjoying the abundance of marine life that you get to see, even while just sitting on the deck of your villa and looking out over the reef...and not to mention the magical sunsets! A special shoutout to Thiloma, Poppy and Iris for their help and the chats and to Shahvez from the sports centre for retrieving my hat and sunglasses from the bottom of the reef! A couple of tips... * sign-up for the all-inclusive package...its worth it! * while you can snorkel anytime, if you're planning to kayak or paddle-board (i.e. free activities), there's a window of just 1-hr a day when the equipment is available..it's the same 1-hr window for everyone. Find out in advance when that window is and be one of the first at the sports centre so you're not disappointed

The Good: Location - the view will forever be in my dreams Rooms - had the overwater 2 room villa, so spacious, well designed, modern and pool/ocean access is amazing Service - friendly, helpful and hard working The Bad: Check In/Check Out - Be prepared for long wait times but this is not necessarily the resort's fault...I see it as you pay for the remote location far from Male 2024 to 2025 changes - I booked this in early 2025 but I wasn't aware that the resort completely changed to new 2025 rules...The information given to me was from 2024 and earlier rules...Examples of the big changes: Excursions - 5 day stays granted an excursion (sunset cruise, fishing, etc) but this was changed to 8 days in 2025...so we "lost" an excursion Souq Oven was Italian/Middle East but now only Middle East...I was a big fan of Italian food All Youtube videos stated "unlimited" food (as many appetizers, mains as you wanted) but this was changed to 3 courses only. There used to be 2 special nights (Seafood and Grilled Night) but this has been reduced to Seafood only.

Before booking please be aware that the domestic flight is horrendous, it easily adds hours to your journey and a considerable amount of stress. On your return journey you can be potentially booked on a domestic flight that leaves no margin for delays or travel disruption. You are not asked your preference in-fact you are left guessing, and without approaching reception, no communication regarding departure is given. Reception on the whole needs to re-evaluate their customer service, we found them to be unhelpful, disinterested rude and generally difficult to deal with, definitely room for improvement in this area. Moving away from the above negatives the Island is beautiful, even as a non-swimmer/snorkeler spotting sharks, turtles, stingray is a daily treat. And the ever changing ocean colours are spectacular with white sandy beaches and beautiful tropical pathways winding through the island . We stayed in a pool water villa on the sun rise side. The villa its self was absolutely beautiful, clean and modern with a large pool and outdoor area sunbeds etc. Well stocked mini bar, snacks, toiletries etc. However the sea on this side is not accessible as the sea bed is rocky, it was also “very” windy which might just be bad luck. They also do not get the sun in the afternoon. We had bikes included with our room which we loved but the hotel needs to provide locks with bike hire as believe it or not peolpe take your bikes!!! Dining we used main dining area “Melange” for breakfast and evening meal. The selection is impressive with lots of freshly cooked options. The staff and chefs are a credit to the hotel and provide a great service, a special thank you to Subrata, Kori and the young man and his co-workers behind the dessert counter (names un-known) for providing that extra special service. A special thank you goes to the hard working team at The Hub pool bar, providing drinks ,lunch and plenty of smiles. Kasan and Rachitha for providing that extra special service, a credit to your employers. All in all despite the domestic flight and reception issues we had a thoroughly lovely stay its a beautiful island, and only rated as 4 stars due to the location /domestic flight and reception issues.

Amazing resort , food is great ! Very wide range of alcoholic and non beverages , clean rooms and outlets . Staff is super helpful and friendly . Highly advised place .
