At the same time, we are sincerely sorry that several aspects of your experience did not meet the level of excellence you expected from a luxury resort such as Pullman Maldives Maamutaa. We fully understand that the natural beauty of our island should be complemented by an equally high standard of upkeep, dining and overall guest experience. Your comments regarding cleanliness and the condition of certain areas of the island are particularly concerning to us. While Maamutaa is intentionally maintained as a natural island, preserving its wilderness character should never come at the expense of cleanliness, safety or responsible environmental management. The presence of plastic waste, damaged sandbags, discarded materials and other items you have highlighted is certainly not the standard we aspire to maintain. We have shared your observations with our relevant operational and engineering teams for immediate review and corrective action. Your specific comments regarding the sandbars and seabed are especially valuable, as they allow us to identify areas that may require additional attention. We are equally sorry to learn that our culinary offerings did not meet your expectations. We acknowledge your comments regarding the repetition of the buffet, the quality of certain products and the similarity you experienced between our dining venues. Our culinary team continuously reviews menus and guest feedback, and your observations will be shared with them as part of this review. We understand that dining is a significant part of the overall luxury resort experience, and we regret that this was an area where we fell short during your stay. Regarding transportation, we would like to clarify that the domestic flight arrangements are coordinated in line with each guest's international flight itinerary as closely as operationally possible. However, domestic flights in the Maldives are subject to airline schedules, operational considerations and, at times, weather conditions. In certain circumstances, flights may need to be rescheduled or guests may be placed on an earlier available flight to ensure that they have sufficient time for their onward international departure and, most importantly, to avoid any risk of missing their international flight. We fully appreciate, however, that spending an extended period at the airport can be tiring and can significantly affect the overall perception of the holiday, particularly when the resort stay itself is relatively short. We are therefore genuinely sorry that the waiting time and airport lounge experience did not provide the level of comfort you expected. While the domestic flight sector is operated by a third-party airline and the airport facilities are outside the direct control of the resort, we recognize that the overall journey forms an important part of the guest experience and that we must continue to look at how we can better support our guests during these transitions. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the bicycle rental and transportation around the island. We understand your perspective that, given the size of the resort and the distance between certain facilities, guests may expect convenient mobility options to be readily available. Your comments will be taken into consideration as we continue reviewing our guest transportation arrangements. It is certainly disappointing for us to know that, despite the aspects of your stay that you genuinely enjoyed, the shortcomings you experienced prevented you from considering your stay a true five-star experience. While we were pleased to extend a complimentary late check-out until 2:30 PM, we understand your disappointment that your departure day did not feel as seamless as you had hoped. Allow us to kindly explain that our resort's standard check-in and check-out times are 2:00 PM and 12:00 PM respectively. Similar to other luxury resorts, early check-in and late check-out are offered subject to availability and may incur an additional charge, as they depend on operational requirements and villa occupancy on the day of departure. With regard to our all-inclusive offering, the package commences from the time of check-in on the day of arrival and concludes at the standard check-out time on the day of departure. We do understand that the interpretation of "all-inclusive" can vary among travelers, and while our resort offers one of the most comprehensive all-inclusive experiences in the Maldives, certain services and timings are structured in accordance with our resort operations. We sincerely regret if this was not aligned with your expectations, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us better communicate these inclusions to future guests. We have also noted your comments regarding the cleanliness of certain beach areas. As a tropical island surrounded by the Indian Ocean, natural tides and currents can occasionally bring coral fragments, seagrass, and other natural debris ashore.
