the pillows are very comfortable and clean. The mattress is also soft so your rest is calm and undisturbed. the bathroom is very clean, the shower also functions well..... In the future I will choose this hotel again to stay...............

STAYING AT THE IBIS PONTIANAK WAS OUR FIRST INTRODUCTION TO KALIMANTAN. WE RECEIVED A WARM FRIENDLY WELCOME FROM THE RECEPTION STAFF AND A FAST AND EFFICIENT CHECK IN. OUR ROOM AND AMENITIES WERE EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED WHEN BOOKING. OUR BED WAS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. THE IBIS IS IN A VERY GOOD LOCATION. CLOSE TO THE SHOPPING MALL WHICH ALSO HAS A HYPERMARKET. IT IS ALSO NEXT TO THE MUSEUM WHICH IS WORTH A VISIT. WE HAD A WONDERFUL VIEW FROM OUR WINDOW OF THE MAIN ROAD TO THE CITY CENTRE WHICH IS BEAUTIFULLY LANDSCAPED WITH AN ABUNDANCE OF TROPICAL PLANTS A BICYCLE TRACK AND WHICH IS USED FOR EXERCISING BY LOCALS IN THE MORNINGS AND EVENINGS. VERY PLEASANT TO STROLL ALONG . UNFORTUNATELY HOWEVER IT CAN BE QUITE CHALLENGING TO CROSS THE ROAD DUE TO THE VIRTUALLY NON STOP TRAFFIC. THE BREAKFAST AT THE IBIS WAS VERY GOOD. LOTS OF VARIETIES OF FOODS TO SUIT BOTH INDONESIAN AND WESTERN TASTES. SOME DISHES WERE FRESHLY COOKED FOR YOU ON REQUEST. THE RESTAURANT WAS TASTEFULLY DECORATED AND ENJOYED A RELAXED AMBIENCE. THERE IS ALSO A SMALL LOUNGE AND BAR TO ENJOY DRINKS. ROOM SERVICE IS ALSO AVAILABLE. IF YOUR ROOM BOOKED DID NOT HAVE A BREAKFAST OPTION LIKE OURS. NOTE THAT IT IS CHEAPER TO PAY FOR BREAKFAST AT RECEPTION THAN TO PAY DOWN AT THE RESTAURANT. ALL STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY . ALL THIS MADE FOR AN EXTREMELY ENJOYABLE STAY.

Thankyou for taking care of my room and food i love the pudding menu on the restaurant wkwkkw but maybe it would be better if the wifiiii much faster for working purposes in the hotel. The staff are all nice, thank you :) the dinner sometimes not come in warm condition but I can request ..

Need improvement to their order taker staff and reception

This was my first time experiencing such poor service at an Accor hotel. Typically, the housekeeping staff is very helpful, but this time it was different. (The female order taker) She didn’t seem interested in providing solutions and instead pushed the responsibility back onto the guest to figure things out on their own. The front office staff was also underwhelming. The line at the front desk was long, and when I asked for a paper bag because I had a lot of items, I noticed they had some in their storage. However, when I requested one, they said they didn’t have any. Even when I asked if I could purchase one, there was no helpful response or alternative offered. On the other hand, in the restaurant, I slipped due to a wet floor, but I appreciated the quick response from the restaurant team to address the issue. Good job to the restaurant team, but housekeeping and reception need significant improvements in their service 👎🏻

I recently stayed at this budget hotel and found it to be a solid choice for affordable accommodations. The rooms were clean and provided basic comfort, meeting expectations for a budget stay. The location was quite convenient, with easy access to major attractions and easy access for transportation, making it easy to get around the city. The staff were notably friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Tere at the reception stood out for her efficiency and warm welcoming service, along with the other staffs I encounter. Their support added a positive touch to my overall experience. While the hotel might not have luxury amenities, it offers good value for the price and is well-suited for travelers seeking practical and cost-effective lodging.
