The breakfast with variety on Indonesian local food. With much menu to choose from. We came early and the seat with was quite full ( with people coming for meeting or seminars I assume) so it's better to come latter to get seatings. We are very satisfied the service given. Thumbs up.

staff was helpful had the smoothest and easiest check in, breakfast was overall OK, if you’re visiting, you should consider having the local foods! the jajanan pasar corner is quite unique and eye catching since they’re serving various local snacks

My spouse ended up in hospital with atypical pneumonia possibly legionella from the air conditioning which was ineffective and being “ fixed” at the time we were unfortunate enough to stay at this filthy, noisy and drab place. One of the front desk staff members (male) was so unhelpful and rude. The other staff were good especially the manager of concierge who took us to the hospital. This place is a half a star dive at best.

Regarding the comments you gave regarding the incident at our Hotel Mercure Pontianak City Center, we would like to clarify the comments given regarding the concierge manager who took you to the hospital, because we do not have a concierge manager and we would be very grateful if you would share the details of your complaint. your experience via telephone number 085750127276 & email (fom@mercurepontianak.com) so that we can follow up quickly and this incident does not happen again in the future, because we have double checked the guest history but have not found the name of the booking in question. I stayed at Mercure Pontianak following my stay at Mercure Ginza, Mercure Tokyu Osaka Namba, and Mercure Jakarta PIK. The difference is like heaven and hell. Mercure Ponti is more like a bad, rundown motel than a three-star hotel. Old furniture, very tacky design, uncomfy bed, and very noisy room next to the street with motorcycle roaming until 2am every night. What's make it unbearable is the attitude of the staff at the reception - no smile, no recognition of Gold status (only one of two rooms upgraded with no interconnecting room, and the upgrade room was actually worse with a problematic shower drainage!). The breakfast was below average I ended up just getting juice on the third morning. To top if off, there was a big group staying at the hotel due to a volleyball tournament. Never had I have such a bad experience staying at an Accor property - makes me wonder if this is actually managed by Accor!
