I had the pleasure to spend three great days and nights at the Ibis Istanbul Tuzla Hotel in the beginning of the month of July this year. The check in-time is actually 12:00 at this hotel, not the usual 14:00 or 15:00, so that in itself is quite an advantage. I arrived shortly after 14:00 after a very long and slow journey from the central of Istanbul (in peak hours the highway R100 to Ankara can be very crowded, despite the 3x3 lane traffic) and the journey from the Taksim Square in the central of Istanbul took approximately 1,45 hours in rush hour on a Friday afternoon by regular yellow taxi which cost about ~€35. Upon arrival there was a very long queue of people who were waiting to check in, but I noticed that the sole receptionist was being flanked by another person who was training and the receptionist as well as a big number of the staff in general were wearing a red “New on the job”, “Trainee” type of name tag, so that explains why the service at times was a little bit slow. I was allocated a room on the top tenth (10) floor, as per request, and the room had sea view, so I was able to see the harbor, all the ships and the black sea from my room. The room was a standard room with the usual Ibis interior. Huge HD flat screen Smart TV with Miracast for Android (unfortunately not Chromecast) but there was a large number of TV channels, for example 4 different Russian TV-channels, which were quite good. The hotel is located right by the highway R100 (Istanbul-Ankara) but there was no noticeable noise in relation to the highway whatsoever. The hotel is located in the very beginning of the city of Tuzla and is very close right next to the to the harbor and the marina in Tuzla. It’s a 20 minute walk from the Tuzla city center approximately. I stayed at this hotel because of that I had an upcoming outgoing flight flight from Türkiye in the next couple of days from the nearby Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) and I would later learn and see that it’s this hotel that is used by the Pegasus Airlines to host passengers whose flight was cancelled or delayed or whatever, because several times per day, almost whenever I was in the the hotel lobby area, there were someone who kept on asking me, or sometimes yelling out “Pegasus “ and the time. I wasn’t recognized as an Accor ALL Gold member upon checking in and they forgot to give me a welcome drink voucher, but after some haggling I eventually received one which was good for a Gin & Tonic cocktail, but apparently I was given an exception for the usual welcome drink-voucher from what I was told only was good for one bottle of local beer (Efes, 4,5%) or a soda such as Fanta, Sprite or Coke, etc., or a coffee or tea. I was assigned a smoking room and there were indeed a distinct smell of tobacco smoke and visual signs on for example parts of the black out-curtains and burn-marks on the table and the sink from cigarettes, but it didn’t bothered me so much. The hotel room is equipped with a mini refrigerator and two small glass bottles of Uludağ Premium mineral water was given out complimentary. About an hour or so after that I had checked in there was a knock on my door and a room ambassador gave me a whole fruit plate of fresh fruit and a large bottle chilled bottle of Uludağ Premium mineral water on account of my Accor ALL Gold member status. I had the pizza deal from the restaurant each evening which was both delicious and very cheap (approximately ~€7) together with a soda of Your choice and it was delivered to Your room in a very small amount of time, just about a ten minutes wait or so, which was quite nice as well. There is a huge garden area outside of the hotel with a large number of seating and the breakfast was apparently served there outside in the summer months (I never eat breakfast). Also a huge and modern full service bar outside as well as inside too. Inside there is a lobby shop with a relatively large selection of drinks , snacks and food, everything from 0,5 liters spirit bottles, full size (0,75) wine bottles, a large number of domestic and international beers, and also a large selection of domestic and international sodas, also various snacks such as crisps, crackers, candy bars, and food such as sandwiches, wraps, salads, noodles, etc. Unfortunately there was no possibility to charge anything to the room from either the restaurant or the bar or lobby shop, so everything had to be paid upfront and You are therefore missing out on the opportunity to earn extra Accor ALL reward points on Your purchases. During my stay in this hotel there was the football UEFA Euro 2024 going on and there was a huge section of seats set up in the garden area with a huge movie theater size projection screen where they showed the game between Türkiye vs. the Netherlands. There were even a lot of waiters there and a special service for drinks and snacks especially set up for this event, which was a great experience. On the last day of my stay the outside garden area was all dolled up and there were a large number of guests attending a wedding ceremony which was held there in the garden section, so it’s a very beautiful place to get married at as well. Over all I was very pleased with my stay at the Ibis Istanbul Tuzla Hotel and would definitely recommend it. The only downside is that there is no swimming pool in the hotel or on the premises and at times the WiFi connection was acting up a little because of over capacity, but really overall it’s a good standard Ibis Hotel and I would stay there again.

ho soggiornato due notti la scorsa settimana, non all'altezza della catena ALL..... non è stato possibile addebitare il conto del ristorante nella camera, quindi bisogna pagare al ristorante... poi per avere la fattura del ristorante bisogna tornare alla reception ed attendere.... ci sono tornato una seconda volta e oltre al solito problema del pagamento del ristorante non mi hanno neanche dato il voucher per il welcome drink, che invece ho avuto durante il primo soggiorno. Inoltre non sono stati in grado di farmi la fattura (camera + ristorante), dopo una lunga attesa sono partito senza e l'hanno spedita dopo. Sicuramente non un ristorante per il business o per client abituati ai servizi gold e platinum ALL

Akşam otele yerleştim, yorgundum direkt uyumak istedim yorganı kaldırınca çarşafaki leke hijyen sorununu ortaya koydu. Daha sonra Türkiye'de İstanbul'da yaşıyorum klozette taharet musluğu yok şaka mı bu ? . Restaurant sorumlusu şef olan çok itici bir tip takip edilmeli.... Otelin girişine levha asılmalı sokak başına , yarım saat oteli görüyorum ama girişi bulamadım bir türlü araba ile.
