Room for a lot of improvement

I arrived on the early morning flight so paid for two nights so I could check in straight away. The reservation was /is covered by my credit card, however at breakfast there was an issue over the credit card not covering the charge to the room billing. Later I ordered room service midafternoon so I could sleep prior to my very early check out for a 05.00am flight. An hour after I ordered the food using the hotel's phone app, nothing arrived I called down to be told they don't usually use the app. It appears you read the menu on the app, then ignore on line ordering and phone the order in to the restaurant. When I phoned down to ask where my meal was they apologised and would process the order. In the special request tab on the app I asked for salt and pepper. The meal arrived an hour and thirty minutes after I placed the order, the main course plate was badly chipped and the service was without any salt and pepper. It took another ten minutes for the S&P to arrive. They weren't busy, it was mid to late afternoon and failed to deliver the service one has grown to expect as standard. This hotel has a lot to offer but is letting itself down badly by failing to manager the small stuff. The food would have tasted better if the S&P had arrived on the tray so the food could have been eaten hot.

Really nice service from the bar tenders Theo, Keti, Nika,Saba and Nana, we stayed 5 nights and they were really friendly and provided an amazing service. Great staff!

A really nice hotel. Very clean and well-equipped. Lovely selection of food for breakfast. Near lots of the sights of Tbilisi, good restaurants and public hot spring baths. Helpful receptionists. Great views from the rooftop bar and good cocktails too.

Comfortable hotel on the edge of the old town.

Very good hotel in a great location in the old town. Comfortable, clean room. Quiet corridors. The hotel is located on a busy thoroughfare, so some traffic noise was inevitable. We did not find it too bad, but might be worth asking for a room towards the back of the hotel. Excellent steak restaurant on the premises. Some steaks were reasonably priced; others were extremely expensive. Good range of non-steak options available. The restaurant doubled as breakfast room. Decent options for buffet breakfast. Fridges holding cuts of beef/steaks, located in the breakfast room, were a little off-putting first thing in the morning! We did not use the fitness room. My wife arranged an on-site massage which she said was good and excellent value. Would definitely stay again.

A comfortable stay in a beautiful old building with character. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beds comfortable. The ability to open a window for fresh air is a rare treat for a chain hotel. All staff are most attentive and true custodians of Georgian hospitality. The roof top bar has panoramic views of the Old City with a great menu of food and drinks.
