A Great Stay in rain town

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and found the experience to be great again. There are a full range of eateries (including the main market with 84 stalls) within a short walk and the Park gardens were about 3 blocks away. This is suitable for a very peaceful morning stroll and we even saw some Hornbills. The hotel is above the Taiping Mall so very handy to get some supplies in the Pacific supermarket on the lower level. The room was a reasonable size, but also had blackout curtains to reduce noise and light. We stayed on the side with Park views which was definitely better than city view as it also looks over the mountains. Everything was well maintained and clean. Overall we enjoyed Taiping again - it is a bit faded in places, but that adds to the charm.

I was a guest at your amazing hotel, Novotel Taiping from 15 – 27 February 2025, I had a wonderful stay and experience at this hotel. I had never felt so welcomed and happy staying in this wonderful hotel. Where Taiping is situated it’s hard to believe that the outstanding guest services and great hospitality given by all your staff is EXCEPTIONALLY AWESOME!! I travel to lots of countries too, but my experience in Novotel Taiping I must say is by so far THE BEST!! The warmth and amazing hospitality extended to me, even here in Singapore or other countries don’t do what each and every staff has done for me!! All the staff from the outlets, room service, Gourmet Bar & Lounge, to Front office, Reservations and Concierge and even Housekeeping, gave me an amazing and satisfied experience that no words can describe!! The amazing hospitality rendered to me, was truly an experience that will definitely make me come back to stay again, and would definitely recommend to my friends and families too. But special recognition is to be given to some of the staff that always made my day and made my stay, amazingly awesome! They are Thiva and Hanafi, from Gourmet Bar & Lounge, they served drinks to me, always with a smile and their positive attitude towards their work, is superbly excellent!! And for Shanti, from Front Office, she went that extra mile just to get for me ice that I needed for my son, as I was rushing to the hospital to see my son and had forgotten to go down onto the 7th Floor to get it, she nicely offered the help. I was very touched, cause it was still around 12noon, and Gourmet Bar & Lounge was still closed. Last but not least, the BEST of all is Mr Sirus from Concierge, now he went beyond my expectation, which was not what I expected! So, my son got discharged from hospital and so I decided to have him stay with me for the next 3 days before I head back to Singapore. As my son’s left leg got amputated, he recommended that he can have a chair placed in the bathroom, as my son is not able to stand on his own, now I totally overlooked about this situation, he just wanted to see if I needed. I was so thankful cause, it never crossed my mind. To me this is something important and I don’t know how I can overlook it, I am so grateful to Mr Sirus. He truly is a GEM of an employee! Please extend my deepest appreciation to them all, and I look forward to coming back again, I hope to meet up with them all again, upon my return back to Novotel, Taiping! Highly recommended to anyone who wants to go to Taiping, Perak, Malaysia for a holiday. Kudos to all the team of Novotel taiping for making my stay a memorable and awesome stay!!

Great place to stay with your family in Taiping. A great put stop on your journey to Penang.

Novotel Taiping is a great place to stay to explore Taiping. Strategically located with lots of local food around and the hotel provides the best amenity to have a peaceful rest. Ample parking and located nicely in a mall. Great team with great hospitality.

Das Novotel liegt an bester Lage im Herzen von Taiping. Viele Orte sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Es hat auch viele Restaurants und Geschäfte, sogar eine Shopping Mall, in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ich habe das Grand Deluxe Zimmer gebucht und es war herrlich. Im obersten Stockwerk gelegen, hatten wir eine tolle Aussicht auf die Umgebung. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber und schön eingerichtet. Auch eine Kaffeemaschine war vorhanden. Das Personal war äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit! Danke nochmals für den guten Service! Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich und sehr gut. Geschätzt haben wir auch die kostenlose Parkmöglichkeit. Alles in allem ein tolles Erlebnis. Ich kann dieses Hotel bestens weiterempfehlen!

Cet hotel se trouve en plein centre-ville de Taiping et se trouve être le seul bâtiment de cette hauteur. C'est d'ailleurs le seul bâtiment qui soit aussi haut là-bas. Directement situé au-dessus d'un centre commercial, cet hotel moderne possède son parking au 6e étage, il faut donc bien garder son ticket pour pouvoir ressortir (il est gratuit pour les clients). La chambre est grande et spacieuse avec un grand lit king size, nous avons bien dormi. Située au 13e étage, notre chambre donnait sur le parc et la ville et une grande baie vitrée nous permettait donc de dominer toute la ville (même si nous avions demandé une vue sur le parc et les montagnes). Il y a une salle de sport et une piscine (ouverte de 7h à 19h) et tout le confort digne d'un novotel. Le petit-déjeuner, sous forme de buffet, est très copieux et bien fourni. On y trouve de tout et des spécialités malaisiennes. Le personnel est sympathique et accueillant. Rapport qualité prix excellent, nous avons payé aux alentour de 65 € la nuit pour une chambre supérieure avec petit-déjeuner.
