Amazing room, lovely breakfast with lots of choice and great service. Staff were helpful and check in and out were quick and easy. The hotel was fully Covid 19 compliant. Fully enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

As always, the Pullman delivers on Cleanliness, Practicality and Efficiency. The staff were friendly and obliging. Many fellow guests were apparently unaware that we are still in a pandemic and the spirit of covid19 countermeasures was sadly lacking. The Hotel needs to be stricter in it’s regulation of Covid 19 measures. Breakfast Buffet was somewhat less than inspiring and lots of popular items were not promptly filled up.

Great place to stay when visiting Liverpool

This was our first stay in an hotel since the pandemic and we were reassured as the Pullman was spotlessley clean. It was our first visit to Liverpool so the view from our room out over the river was amazing. All the staff we met were exceptionaly friendly and helpful. The location was fabulous - right on the water front and a short walk to the centre

3 night trip

Check in was bad, arrived at 12:45 to be told was 14:00 which was fair enough. Arrived back after 1615 to see long queue for check in. Receptionists were heroic due to many late checkouts & lack of house cleaning staff. Even though at 1245 we saw at least 3 - 4 parties coming out of the lift to check out. Hotel can be very busy with a conference on & also for cruise ship drop offs.

Overpriced and very average

We asked for a room on a high floor and were given a room on the 2nd floor. Who puts "Executive" rooms on the 2nd floor? The room was not clean with water and hair in the bath, one of the days no one even bothered to clean the room. Breakfast was Premier Inn quality but was extremely expensive. We elected not to eat breakfast the 2nd and 3rd day and go out. The room was over £200 but was definitely not worth it. The room was nice enough and the hotel was quiet which is difficult to achieve over a weekend in Liverpool.

Lovely stay booked as a last minute holiday break, room on 2nd floor was really good great bathroom floor to ceiling windows, breakfast was good lots of choices and well organised, bar service very good lovely atmosphere would definitely stay again.

Shocked to see a hotel of this standard have such dirty rooms. Dust everywhere in the rooms, carpet and bathroom floor both dirty. Only little things but for a Accor hotel you'd expect better. Staff in the bar and restaurant were lovely and made great cocktails only part that saved the trip!

We paid for a Junior suite, massive room, very comfortable bed, all facilities as advertised and it had a separate toilet, excellent idea. Big screen TV on the wall and the shower was very efficient. However we paid all that money for a room that was dark on the 2nd floor with a view of the back of the arena and the gantry to it. Fortunately it was only for 1 night. I don't know if any other rooms have a better view as the hotel faces the arena which is very tall. The other furniture whist clean was a little tired and showing its age. Breakfast - quality was good, tasted very nice just was not very hot as the warming lights did not cover every dish. Bit pricey as well.

Had a fantastic stay at the hotel from the moment we checked in everything was just perfect. All the staff were exceptional offering such a high standard of service, really enjoyed the breakfast and bar meals we indulged in. Had a small issue with the room which Vicky dealt with extremely efficiently overall wouldn't stay anywhere else in Liverpool.

Perfect stay! I stayed for 2 nights and the room was really nice. The staff was also amazing, specially the lady that took my name during the breakfast. I already recommended this hotel and for sure will come back.

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the hotel was super clean and our room was lovely. The breakfast was very nice with a lot of choice. the location is good being only a short walk to most sites.

Tired hotel & poor food options

After several issues with my online booking, I had to call three times to rectify it. When I arrived, however, or booking was still incorrect. The duty manager was very helpful and sorted it, but it was a disappointing start to our stay. As a silver member, we received a complimentary room upgrade, but the room itself was tired and there were two balls of hair in the room. They were still there after three days of cleaning. The half board menu had very limited choice and was the same every night. On the final night we went to a restaurant despite having paid for dinner. Overall a very disappointing experience- not a four star experience by far.

Liverpool stay.

First visit to Liverpool and what a fantastic city. Hotel was lovely the only thing that stuck in mind was the bed was never made up correctly the under sheet of the bed was just left creased and not tucked in. The duvet was just pulled over the sheet. My wife accidentally got a bit of make up on the duvet cover on the first day. That duvet cover was never changed either on our 3 night stay. Due to C-19 restrictions the hotel bar stopped serving drinks at 10PM for cocktails and then 10:30 for anything else. You could see hotel guest returning and being told that the bar was closed were not happy.

We've stayed here a number of times pre-pandemic and it was good to see that things have remained at a very high level. The staff are all first rate and the facilities are very good - hard to fault really. We've already booked our next stay.

Still very good, but standards are slipping

It's about the sixth time I've stayed here. I've always loved this hotel. Well, until I discovered they kept free-range eggs for the evening restaurant, and caged battery eggs for breakfast. That's when it started to go downhill for me. If Wetherspoons and McDonalds can do free-range eggs for breakfast - and the hotel itself can in the evening, for goodness' sake - why this added bit of cruelty for the sake of a cost saving off the bottom line? These cost savings are evident throughout. You used to get a free minibar refillable as much as you want. The contents are now much downgraded - byebye Joe and Sephs! - and it's now just once a day. The main bar closed at 10.30pm, when it was still packed with guests wanting to be served. The great cocktails are gone. What made this hotel worth a premium is starting to slip away. It's far from all doom and gloom. The rooms are still lovely, clean and well-maintained. After an initial false start with one of the checkin assistants who refused me a Platinum status early checkin, I was later checked in by Becky, who later remembered me by my room number, was genuinely warm and hospitable, and went out of her way to help with my service requests. And the staff all seemed to want to do a good job. It's just kinda obvious that corners are being cut, and regular guests are starting to notice.

The hotel is in an excellent position, and the reception staff are excellent, especially helpful was Gaia. The Pullman is very clean and generally thervice is good. However, the current bar staff ate not professional, with the bar closing at 10.30pm on one night. After my querying the 10.30 closure, a notice appeared at the entrance stating a closing time of 11pm. However, a bar staff member still carried out a 'last orders' serve at 10.20pm. On my asking why she replied that the bar did vlise at 11, but last orders were about 10.20. Between 10.30 and 10.50 at least 2 other people were served. I emsiled the hotel to query again, but have received no reply!

Traveling in Covid times. Anxiety, uneasiness. Not necessary as the Pullman Liverpool pulled out all the stops even in these circumstances. Brilliant hygiene concept and the staff out of this world. So friendly, so hospitable. Truly a gem of a hotel in Liverpool.

Business in lockdown

Stayed during the lockdown for business, everything Covid secure, everything was spotless, room service was great, easy to order, disposable cutlery and take away boxes. Parking at the waterfront carpark is £18 night but right on your hotel doorstep.

This is a modern hotel in a great location for , walks along waterfront, Albert Dock and access into the city for shopping etc. Parking nearby is good but expensive @£18 per 24hours. The staff very welcoming ,friendly and obliging. The only disappointment was was the restaurant Wheelers by Marco White was closed due to COVID but when I booked online I was encouraged to book restaurant by Accor as if it was still open !!! We would stay here again in normal times
