Stayed here for 3 nights during the world beach volleyball championships. Very good price compared to other hotels in Adelaide. Staff friendly, check in and out was good. However, I noticed during the stay there were big lines for check in and check out. Stayed in a superior city view room. The only issue I had was set temperature of the interior of the hotel. It was very warm, so had to constantly put the air con on in room. I’m also pretty sure they have rats in the walls, only saw some in the alleyway. There is vending machines on each level, however they don’t work. I had buffet breakfast in their restaurant. I thought the buffet was quite average, however, when I tried the buffet at the sofitel, I thought the ibis did quite well.

Additionally, we check our vending machines daily and besides the odd product getting stuck (which we replace), we have experienced no recent issues that prohibits the functioning of the machine. I do apologise if this was the case however. Regarding your concern about pests, we take cleanliness and maintenance very seriously. We have a pest control company visit regularly and have traps around the hotel. We have not had any recorded rodents in the hotel. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our buffet breakfast and found it favorable compared to other options. The only good thing about the hotel is the service and the offer in the restaurant and the fact that the hotel is close to all amenities! The rooms are very stuffy and not clean enough, the staff at the reception is disinterested in their work!

What a great business hotel - well designed room, comfy bed, spotlessly clean including daily servicing - and a great bunch of amenities throughout the building as well as a tasty breakfast. I was a solo traveller and would likely look elsewhere if travelling for leisure but this was a great option for my quick business trip!

Our early evening check in was quick, efficient and friendly but our stay went downhill after that. We each ordered 2 pieces of toast for our evening snack, but it took the kitchen 40 minutes with 2 enquiries to make it. We saw other people who arrived after us being served before us. Our room was fine, nice big bed, but the bathroom could do with more shelving. The aircon is set at 20 degrees and doesn’t seem to be able to be charged so we spent a very hot uncomfortable night trying to sleep. Breakfast was great with lots of choice.

Overall, this is a solid four-and-a-half stars from me. The good: I really appreciated my room on the 16th floor with its views out towards the Adelaide Hills - thank you! The location is pretty good too, close to North Terrace and not too far from the trams and buses. The room is very nice and clean and modern, and I appreciated the very comfortable bed, the excellent blackout curtains and the generous desk running along the window. On the room for improvement front, I would love some storage to be able to put clothes away. To my mind, a couple of drawers under the desk would be a great use of space. I'd happily consider this a priority over a huge TV screen which I barely used. And I would quite like a comfortable chair rather than an office chair as well. But these are minor quibbles for what has been a very nice stay.
