TRAVAUX DE RAVALEMENT je viens d'annuler ma réservation de 15 jours en mars parce que j'ai découvert par hasard qu'il va y avoir des travaux de peinture sur l'immeuble de décembre à juin ! échauffadages obstruant les fenêtres, bruit de chantier... l'info n'était pas sur le site accor mais sur le site direct de quay west. THE SEBEL QUAY WEST AUCKLAND – NOTICE OF RECTIFICATION WORKS Dear Valued Guest, From December 2025 until June 2026, painting rectification works will be taking place at The Sebel Quay West, Auckland. We understand the works may cause some inconvenience, and we apologize in advance for any disruption caused. Every effort will be made to minimise the impact on our guests with the following schedule implemented; • Work Hours: The works will be conducted from Monday to Friday, between 8am and 5pm. There will be no work carried out on weekends. • Noise Impact: We anticipate some noise impact as the work will be performed. We will provide regular updates on the progress of the works and notify you of any significant changes or delays that may occur. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we undertake these necessary rectification works. Nous avons passé 5 nuit dans cet hôtel et tout était vraiment parfait. L’emplacement est idéal. Les chambres sont vraiment grandes. Le ménage est fait tout les jours. La vue sur la mer depuis le balcon était vraiment bien. Je conseille cet hôtel

Une horreur, je me demandais à quoi servait mon statue platinum parfois, mais là j’ai la réponse, à rien, avoir une bouteille d’eau ?, j’en ai deux dans n’importe quel hotel du monde. Et surtout lorsque je demande à pouvoir faire un check out plus tard, et que l’on me propose 13h je suis stupéfait alors que les rares fois où je le demande on me laisse généralement à 16h… Donc mon séjour s’est continué dans le hall en travaux de l’hôtel pour attendre mon avion. Vous pensez que quelqu’un me proposerait d’aller dans un salon avec mon pc ? Non et quand je demande à aller aux toilettes avant de partir, ça même sans être Platinum chez Accor généralement j’y ai le droit, on me répond que c’est fermé à 16h… Je reste bouche bée devant autant de générosité, c’est l’histoire qui me fera comprendre que je ne dois plus courir après la carte platinum d’Accor, je vais sans doute réserver ailleurs où les avantages sont vraiment reconnus.

Ci ho trascorso quattro giorni a settembre 2007. La posizione è perfetta – a un isolato dal porto, con molti ristoranti eccellenti e buoni spazi per fare footing. La vista del porto dalla mia camea era bellissima. I balconi con le porte apribili consentivano di aerare il locale. Il letto era molto confortevole e il soggiorno era in buone condizioni. L’unica cosa negativa era che la palestra era chiusa. Comunque potevo andare gratuitamente al YMCA vicino che aveva ottime strutture: un po’ eccentrico ma le persone là erano piuttosto gentili. Sarebbe meglio, comunque, che la palestra dell’albergo fosse aperta. Consiglio di alloggiarci. La vista è migliore e la camera è più ampia di altri posti ad Auckland.

Suite molto grande con due camere, confortevole e ben attrezzata. Ottima vista della città dal balcone. Niente era di troppo disturbo per il personale e ci torneremmo sicuramente se mai passassimo di nuovo da Auckland. Non abbiamo mangiato al ristorante quindi non sappiamo se fosse buono oppure no.
