A lovely Town House Hotel. Very nice pools. Large comfortable apartments with kitchen and very friendly staff.

It was quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was enjoyable. The beach next to the hotel was beautiful and I enjoyed my morning walk. I think it would be great to come back with friends next time. It's only an hour and a half away from where I live in Sydney, so that's a big plus. I would definitely recommend it to those in the area.

VOUCHER PURCHASERS BEWARE – My Sister purchased birthday vouchers for myself & my daughter for a Massage & High Tea experience in December 2022, and also one for herself, so we could share the experience. When purchasing the vouchers my sister was advised that the vouchers would be honoured for 3 years. When phoning to book the appointments my sister advised that she had 3 x vouchers that were purchased December 2022 for the booking, the person taking the booking said that would be fine. We presented the vouchers on arrival, then, AFTER our treatments & high tea, the manager Taliessa advised that there were extra fees payable as the fees had risen since the purchase of the vouchers. How dissapointing, and why did the Manager Taliessa wait until the end of the treatments to let us know. I can say definitely that we won't be going back to this Spa, the Managers attitude was certainly not very customer service friendly at all, which spoiled our whole experience.

Beautiful family-friendly resort to stay at. My family and I have been coming to Magenta for years now.. Although our experience this time around was mediocre, we visited the hotel 26th-28th February, was average in comparison to the past. When dining in the Shallows Bar on Wednesday, we felt as though the atmosphere was flat, staff looking very lost/flustered and the younger girl that looked like she was in charge (different colour uniform to most staff on) served us gave the impression she did not want to be there, she came off as a little blunt to be honest, disappointing as the Bar staff are usually very bubbly, friendly and welcoming.. Hope this was an off day...

We stayed in a three-bedroom villa for three nights, but the day it checked out we were paid an extra $200. There was an email saying that we drew something with crayons on the Bathtub and they have to erase it with a cleaning company, that costs $200. Firstly, we didn’t have children young enough to use crayons and obviously they are old enough to have the conscience to not do this. Secondly, the stains were allegedly already on the bathtub at the first place. We kept on talking about this situation on the phone and through the email to hotel but the manager had said she would call again tomorrow. However she did not call back. We kept waiting the calling and we called again at 4.30pm. and She said “I said I’d call back by 5 o'clock today. It's not 5 o’clock yet.” And she saying their housekeeping team is always professional, so it couldn't have this kind of stain in the first place, and they have this strong, significant policy of damage. (Which is we never heard of it when we checked in) This is the first time we ever experienced an abhorrent, dishonest, stubborn hotel customer service, and it is absolutely not acceptable to charge us for stain that we didn’t even make. If we were informed this ‘strong policy’, this situation would not even be happening and we would have taken a picture as evidence. It's a pity that we couldn't take a picture of the original stain on the Bathtub when we first checked in. But what guest on a holiday would take a picture of this stain in advance for evidence because they're afraid the hotel will charge the guests for this cleaning fee?
