Hotel befindet sich in einem Altbau. Unser Zimmer war bereits vor Check In Zeit fertig und wir haben sogar ein größeres Zimmer erhalten. Bad hatte wenig Ablagefläche und hat teilweise unangenehm gerochen. Für einen Städtetrip perfekt gelegen. Nahe Bahnhof, Bus und Tram. Fußläufig viele Restaurants, Bäckereien und Supermärkte. In einer halben Stunde ist man zu Fuß in der Altstadt.

Soweit alles gut. Dass jedes Zimmer ein anderes Layout hat, liegt wohl an der Liegenschaft. Aber das Lavabo in meinem Zimmer mit nur 20 Quadratzentimeter war schon unakzeptabel klein.

Das Hotel liegt günstig am Odenplan mit vielen Restaurants (Tennstoppet und Trangan sind wärmstens zu empfehlen, Reservierung erforderlich), mit den Öffis kommt man überall hin. Das Gebäude ist alt, manche würden es als charmant beschreiben, ich fand es eher runtergekommen. Es gibt einen Aufenthaltsraum mit gratis Kaffee und Wasser, sowie Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle. Die Rezeptionisten sind sehr freundlich und geben gern Auskünfte. Mein Zimmer im Erdgschoss war eher im Keller und sehr dunkel, dafür aber schön ruhig. Der Schrank ist eine Frechheit, wenn man ein paar Tage bleibt, 5 Bügel und 10 cm Ablagefläche. Das Bad ist groß und rollstuhlgerecht, bräuchte aber dringend neue Fugen. Der Rest vom Zimmer ist aber viel zu eng für einen Rollstuhl. Frühstück ist am Wochenende erst ab 8 Uhr, schwierig für Dienstreisende oder wenn der Flieger schon um 11 Uhr geht. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist nicht besonders, die Qualität ist schlecht, alles aus der Packung, wenigstens die Brötchen könnte man aufbacken. Insgesamt bin ich besseres von Ibis Styles gewöhnt. Mir war nicht klar, wie teuer Schweden ist, daher passen Preis und Leistung wiederum.

Mein erster Eindruck war leider ziemlich schlecht. Obwohl ich ein Zimmer im Obergeschoss mit Fenster und Ausblick gebucht hatte, wurde ich im Untergeschoss untergebracht. Das Hotel wirkt insgesamt schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen; eine Renovierung wäre langsam nötig. Zudem war die Kommunikation vorab anstrengend: Das Personal schrieb mir dreimal wegen der Zahlung, obwohl in meiner Buchung 'Zahlung vor Ort' stand. Aber es gab auch Positives: Entgegen meiner ersten Sorge war das Bett sehr bequem und ich habe wirklich gut geschlafen. Auch das Frühstück war absolut in Ordnung. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal: Der Service beim Frühstück und das gesamte Team waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das hat den Aufenthalt deutlich angenehmer gemacht!

Die Lage vom Hotel ist aufgrund der Anbindung sehr gut, das war es dann aber auch! Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Keller, es stank überall nach Öl, die Treppe nach unten über die sich alle zum Frühstücksraum quetschen müssen, entspricht wohl kaum irgendwelchen Sicherheitsvorkehrungen. Die fehlende Duschwand lässt bereits die Holzbohle im Türrahmen schimmeln! Wir würden hier nicht mehr schlafen!

Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, Sauberkeit im Frühstücksraum sehr gut, freundliches Personal (Rezepzion, Frhstück), Zimmer: Preis-Leistung ok Leider ein großes Minus: der unzuverlässige bzw. defekte Lift - ich hatte ein Zimmer im 6. Stock und musste einen großen Koffer hinauf- bzw. hinuntertragen, einmal steckte ich im Aufzug fest, Deshalb Abzug bei der Gesamtbewertung.
