If you do not have a window front...

Somehow, one side of the building has only a small window in each room. It feels more like a youth hostel/prison than a hotel. The front desk agents were very friendly and told us to see the illuminated cathedral later in the evening, as it is a special, unique event. But we were too tired. The breakfast is typical for Ibis: not really for pleasure but to become full. Public parking is cheaper than hotel parking—caution when you arrive.

The ‘hotel’ feels and looks like a hostel. The decor is hideous, think red walls and dirty carpets. The rooms are tiny, poorly maintained and dirty. Bathroom the same, dubious stains in the toilet, dirty shower. Breakfast is a basic and not at all tasty. I realise it only bills its elf as a 3* hotel, but in my view this should be a 1*.

Great budget hotel with friendly staff. Plentiful public parking just across the road at side of hotel. You can literally park 10 metres away from the hotel reception. Good continental breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Good location about 10 minutes easy walk to the Cathedral and surrounding restaurants.

The front of desk team are really helpful and went beyond and above to help us. The hotel is in need of a refurbishment but the staff more than make up for this and the location makes the hotel exceptional value for money. The Hotel was busy but the staff were very friendly and calm. The receptionist gave us a recommendation for dinner which we really enjoyed
