Did not ask if I smoke and assigned a smoking floor which I needed to change after complaining. Before arrival already asked not to reserve the room at the end of the floor, still, arranged the room at the end of the corner. What is the purposes for asking my preferences?

I ordered a room fare including lounge access at the reception, however no personnel reminded me there is no food in the lounge during the evening. In the next day the lounge opens at 14:30 but also no food but only some cola and water. If the reception personnel would inform how the lounge (could it even be called "lounge"?!) works, nobody would book this kind of room right? When i ask for refund/cancelling the extra charge for the lounge when checking-out (didn't consume anything there), the hotel personnel, especially Mr. He, showed rude attitude and insisted the only compensation could be a discount for next stay in this hotel. Are you kidding me? Shishi is not a city which you will repeatedly visit. When I asked for a complaint claim, Mr. He arrogantly told me to complain in internet and claimed that he was in charge of the hotel, and Accor HQ China/global has no right to intervene his decision. The hotel located in nowhere, nothing for dinning/drinking/shopping in the nearby. 我直接在酒店前台预定了包含酒廊使用价格的房间。但是预定时酒店前台工作人员没人提醒当天酒廊晚上没有可以吃的东西，第二天酒廊也要等到下午2点半才开，而且两点半以后也只有可乐和水。这种情况下如果有提醒谁会订带酒廊费的房间？ 退房时我要求把酒廊使用费去掉（没有使用任何东西），但是工作人员尤其是一位姓何的同事非常粗鲁地拒绝。他提出的唯一补偿是下次再住该酒店时打折。请问这是在耍客人吗？谁知道下次再去石狮是什么时候？当我提出要投诉时，何还非常傲慢地说要投诉只能自己去网上投诉，而且他是主管，雅高中国总部无权干涉酒店运营。 酒店本身地处偏远，周围没有任何可以吃饭逛的地方。

We travelled up to Jin Jiang to the north of Xiamen via train from Shenzhen and had booked a 7 seat van from the Pullman Shishi Mattison. The were three of us travelling and had 5 suitcases plus handcarry. The distance is approximately 18 Km and it cost CNY 260 which is on the expensive side. It was certainly very comfortable and got us to the hotel in style. We were greeted by a host of friendly faces and Kevin, the front office manager, speaks good English, which was a pleasant surprise. We were given a room on the 23rd floor and it was much better than we we expecting for a relatively small town. There are lots of clothing manufacturers in the vicinity, so we encountered lots of European business people that obviously came to buy or to have something manufactured and would be the main reason to have a hotel of this calibre located here. The breakfasts were the best we had experienced during the past few weeks of travelling throughout China, so we were all very happy campers. There is a massive and well equipped gym and swimming pool on the 8th floor and if you have really deep pockets, there is a helipad on the 30th floor. This is a great place to stay when travelling to Shishi.

The best thing about this hotel is the location; and it is relatively new in decoration. However the staff need to be properly trained if this hotel should be qualify as a Pullman. I booked non smoking room, but when i checked in there was ash tray and matches in the room, and the carpet smelling of cigarettes? The staff dont speak much english at all, it was hard to communicate. The TV only has 1 english channel - no CNN or BCC or anything in English except 1 channel. Thats ridiculous. They claim to have a lounge but its never open. They have a lot to improve about this hotel

Nothing great about this hotel. Looks nice on the outside but average inside and service was terrible. There are other hotels in Shishi that will offer better deals and a better price. This hotel was very regimented and you even cannot swim in the pool without wearing an ill fitting hotel swim cap. Took 50 mins to get a hamburger for dinner one night even though no one else was in the restaurant and they had 4 people working in the kitchen. Staff do not speak English and had to use Translator software to get things across. Was in an area with no shops around and alot of car dealerships and a very busy road. Would not stay here again and i spent 3 nights here.
