Lovely hotel. Courteous staff. Nice room with 2 huge beds in our room. Amazing breakfast options. Nice pool Fab location for the little town and the national park. Walking path to view Uluru-Kata ( from a distance!)

Dear Caroline, Thank you and we are delighted to hear you enjoyed the comfort of your room, our courteous staff, the breakfast offerings, and the pool. It’s wonderful to know our location and walking paths added to your experience as well. Kind regards, Ayers Rock Resort Team

Better than I imagined

Dale S TripAdvisor review

In the middle of the country with Ayers Rock as the only attraction, I was surprised about the quality of the accommodations and local restaurants/bars. The only downside is some of the rooms are up several levels and there are no elevators to haul your luggage.

Dear Dale, We are pleased to hear that our accommodations and dining options exceeded your expectations. We also acknowledge your feedback regarding the rooms located on higher levels and the absence of elevators. We understand this may cause inconvenience. Kind regards, Ayers Rock Resort Team

Really well managed remote resort

You have to take your hat off to how well run this resort is, when it’s so far from anywhere and obviously hard to attract, train and retain staff. Whilst a tad aged it is very clean and well kept. The breaks and dinner buffers are wonderful and well worth the money, fresh fruit, prawns and oysters 2000k’s into the desert would be a logistical nightmare but really well done. Staff, bars, restaurants and art showcases are all really well done

Thank you Steve. We are glad to know you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the effort that goes into running the resort in such a remote location. It’s great to know the rooms, buffets, and overall presentation hit the mark for you. We’re also pleased you enjoyed the service across our bars, restaurants, and art spaces. Thanks again for sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you back. Kind regards, Ayers Rock Resort Team

Best hotel here

When you are so far from civilization you need to remember the limitations of any hotel. It’s not a 5 star but the rooms are spacious. Because of where you are you you can really only hand around the hotel for food etc Best here

Dear Steve, Thank you, and we are glad you enjoyed the spacious rooms and your stay overall. You are right; being in the heart of the outback comes with its own unique pace and some limitations, but we hope it also added to the experience of this unique location near Uluru. Kind regards, Ayers Rock Resort Team

Moved to sails as we were very unhappy with the room we had in another hotel which was as they say 4 star not room wise. Paid for upgrade to5 star sails and the difference is not marginal, it’s night and day Great rooms, balcony, view of Uluru from room Nice pool Great restaurants Pay the extra on what will probably be your one trip to Yulara!,,,,,,only an extra 1£100 per night.

Dear Niall, Thank you for sharing your experience and for highlighting the difference you felt after moving to Sails in the Desert. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the rooms, balcony, view of Uluru, pool, and restaurants. We strive to provide fair and reasonable pricing for our guests. Our hotel pricing works on a yielding or dynamic pricing model, which means rates fluctuate depending on demand, time of booking, and events. We hope you had a pleasant stay. Kind regards, Ayers Rock Resort Team
