Incredibly warm welcome from the front desk team. Room modern and spacious although could do with another chair and table. Lunch/dinner superb - fresh, tasty and well presented. Friendly staff at the rooftop bar and well-made cocktails. The pool access rooms are a must if you love the water like me - brilliant to simply step out of your room and into the large and interesting pool. Could do with longer opening hours though. Good selection of shops and bars/restaurants within a few minutes walk. Would stay again.

We had a great stay here we were on the beach wing with sea view. It was just lovely sitting on the balcony looking at the water. Staff were more than accommodating smiles politeness The sand was white and clean and seawater a good temperature. We like this end of the beach as it’s the quieter end. Lots of nice restaurants around too. We’re coming back.

Another fantastic stay at this beautiful beachfront property We had a sea view room on top floor. Lovely clean and spacious. All the staff are so helpful and friendly especially at breakfast. Big thanks to reception for decorating our room for my wife's birthday. Will definitely be back again

Well we have mixed feelings about Mercure, Samui Tana. Hotel and pool: beautiful setting, pool area stunning nicely set out leading onto the beach, with a pool bar and beach bar that you can pay at or charge to your room, a tad overpriced but that’s hotels for you! The pool access rooms are all a little different on the access aspect, some down a side piece which is a little disappointing considering you pay the same as the ones leading onto the main pool! Rooms are not superb unfortunately, we booked a room for 2adults and 1 child, no bed for child! On asking we were told it’s an extra 1000bht per night for an extra bed! We explained we booked for three guests but we were told the child is expected to sleep with us in the main bed!!! NOT IMPRESSED. We booked, we payed, we didnt Account to have to pay another 13000 bhat! The room fortunately had a big enough bed for us but as adults we would have preferred dignity plus the child needs its own bed too! We felt the room lacked any seating with a table if we ordered room service, 1 chair in room for 3 and no where to put food, left is not using this facility as we would of had to sit on the bed! This does need looking into. The patio area had 1 day bed, plus 1 small table, for 3 guests?? Bathroom was lovely, tv was ok, don’t expect if English to watch anything other than the news. The cleaners were fantastic and were professional. Wardrobes were ok but need more than 4 hangers! Safe was great and easy to use. Pool shuts at 7pm but I feel as we had pool access it could have been opening a little longer. Reception staff were very friendly and always smiling. There is in the evening security walking round taking pictures constantly, there is also cctv cameras all around the hotel. The breakfast room / restaurant is a nice layout, breakfast was not great we give up after a couple of days hot food was cold pastries were not fresh, coffee was good. Hotel was in a decent location, bars restaurants 7/11 other shops in seconds walk, the main chaweng area was 15/20 min walk or 50bht bus away. Lamai resort was a short bus ride away Overall we did like it, the points above wouldn’t put us off going back but we believe it needs a few tweaks to give the guests a more comfortable stay, the bed situation and table and chairs are a definite.

We had a very nice stay! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were all helpful and friendly. The pool and the beach were both beautiful and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the day. We really enjoyed our time here and would love to come back.
