We stayed here for 5 nights 2 adults 2 kids. This is our 4th time in thailand and we spend 6 weeks travelling round for reference. We tried to get loungers by the pool everyday for 5 days but im assuming people put towels down at 7am and walk away and leave every lounger had towels but nobody was sitting there ? So we didnt get to use the hotels pool one day the kids were so disappointed and unfortunately you couldnt sit on the beach. There was workmen in the beach restraunt so the place was busy and noisy We didnt pay for breakfast package so on the last day we chose to just pay for it you weren't allowed to see it before hand so we paid and then going round there wasnt much left and unfortunately myself and son couldn't have anything so I asked for a refund which was a bit of a hassle but they said we missed all the good food like pancakes etc for kids. Very disappointed to not be able to relax in a hotel you have paid for i would have been better booking another hotel as a base rather than a nicer hotel like this one assuming my kids could enjoy pool etc So having to spend extra money to relax at the beach elsewhere

10/10 for this hotel guys. It’s right on the beach, so waking up to the sunrise every morning was such a peaceful start to the day. It’s also really close to Fisherman’s Village, where there are plenty of cafés, beach bars and restaurants to explore. Having a 7/11 and a pharmacy nearby was super convenient. My friend and I originally booked just one night but ended up staying four more because we really enjoyed it. The rooms are clean, modern, and have such a nice beach view — perfect for photos too. There’s a pool, a small gym, and even a pool table. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast had plenty of options, and everything felt relaxed and easygoing. Definitely a place I’d return to on my next trip to Samui.

We had a wonderful stay at ibis Koh Samui Bophut and would like to sincerely thank the whole team for their kindness and professionalism. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. The rooms are comfortable, stylish, and offer lovely views. The breakfast is varied and very tasty, and we also enjoyed a great dinner at the restaurant. The hotel is perfectly designed for relaxing, especially the outdoor spaces and the beautiful pool area, which we absolutely loved. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this property ⭐️

so rooms are as you are used to with them. It’s a nice hotel with direct beach access and no people walking along the beach so kinda private. I booked their largest room which is a suite. So no further upgrade possible as an Accor Gold but I would have wished a nicer location of the room. Not sure if their suites are all on ground level but the downside is that people are walking by and you need to have all curtains closed during dawn and night. Otherwise they see everything in your room. Some power outages happened but the generator kicked in always a few minutes later. Once it happened in the gym during a run and suddenly the machine then turned off. Luckily I was anyhow nearly at trainings end. But overall it’s still an Ibis so don’t expect a five star resort and I would stay here again. Side note: the pools are not of the size for swimming and doing laps. And the ocean isn’t suitable for open water swimming either as there are jellyfishes which burn you when in contact.
