スクールホリデー中に2泊3日の家族旅行でマグネティック島を訪れ、Grand Mercure Apartments Magnetic Islandに滞在しました。 Grand Mercure Apartments Magnetic Islandはタウンズビルの沖合約8kmに浮かぶマグネティック島のNelly Bay地区にあるAccor Hotels系列のアパートメントタイプのアコモデーションです。 宿泊当日はタウンズビルから午後2時に到着するフェリーでマグネティック島に上陸しました。チェックインはセキュリティゲートの外にあるレセプションで行います。某ホテル予約サイトからあらかじめ宿泊予約と宿泊料金決済を行ったので、身分証明書を提示するのみでスムースにチェックインできました。 今回は家族3人で滞在するため、2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Apartment Ocean Viewを利用しました。ベッドルーム2部屋(主寝室にクイーンサイズベッド1台、副寝室にシングルサイズベッド2台を配置)とリビングルーム、キッチン、バルコニーがあるファミリー向けの広い客室です。客室は清掃と適切な手入れがしっかり行き届いていて、完成から15年以上経っているにもかかわらず、まるで新築物件のように清潔で快適に過ごせました。バルコニーからはMagnetic Hourbourが眺められ、Nelly Bayに発着するフェリーが見られます。車がある場合は、滞在期間中無料で建物の地下にある各部屋専用の駐車場を利用可能です。 客室には大型冷蔵庫やIHクッキングヒーター、電子レンジなどのほか、食器や調理器具が揃ったフルサイズのキッチンが完備されているので、短期旅行のみならず長期滞在にも便利です。キッチンでは無料のコーヒー・紅茶が提供されています。バスルームではシェービングキットとヴァニティキット、ボトルタイプのシャンプー・コンディショナー・ハンド&ボディウォッシュがバスアメニティとして用意されていますが、歯ブラシ等はありませんでした。 客室では無料でWi-Fiに接続できます。通信速度が速く接続も安定しているので、スマートフォンやラップトップはもちろん、スマートテレビでの動画視聴も楽しめました。 ホテル館内にはレストランはありませんが、Nelly Bayには数軒のレストランやカフェ・バーが点在しているほか、ホテルから徒歩5分程度のところに食料品や日用品の購買に便利なスーパーマーケットがあります。連泊する場合は、車やバスを使って食事をしにHorseshoe Bay地区やArcadia地区へ足を延ばしてみるのも良いでしょう。 今回はたった2泊3日のマグネティック島滞在でしたが、バルコニーに出て潮騒を聴きながらコーヒーを飲んだり、プールに浸かりながら夕焼けを眺めたりと、ゆったりとした時間を過ごすことができました。

Trudy made our stay truly special! She welcomed us with such kindness and professionalism that we immediately felt at home. The beachfront apartments are beautiful and spotless, but it was Trudy’s care and attention that made everything unforgettable. Thank you!

Trudy was amazing to deal with. She was more than accommodating and such a friendly face ! The apartment was next to none and we absolutely loved the views! I will be bringing my family back her for their holiday for many years to come! Please call Trudy to book in she will never disappoint !!!!

Fantastic Rooms and service. The staff could not have been more helpful to my family. Trudy was exceptional there was nothing that she did not know about Magnetic Is and the complex, so helpful to a family party of six. I would definitely bring my family over to Maggi Is again for longer this time. My whole family hopes Trudy will still be there to welcome us,
