Surprisingly great hotel for Ibis family

Was planning a hike to Mt. Kinabalu and my friend selected this hotel as it was close to the train station. I am an Accor Diamond and I have quite honestly not stayed at Ibis hotels. I thought they were quite low quality brand offerings. I have to say I was completely surprised. This hotel is beatiful. I booked an upgraded room and the suite was very well appointed with a comfortable bed. I left very impressed with the bteakfast, the hotel amenities and ambience. Only issue is the location. It is close to the train station as we were going to Mt. Kinabalu but there are just quite local offerings around the area - Kopitiam's, local mamaks and the like. I did catch a Zus and KFC nearby though. I prefer to stay in the city centre but this was a good hotel given we were going onwards to Kundasang and Mt. Kinabalu.

Kami daripada sekolah menengah membuat high tea di hotel ini pada 24.08.2025. Di sini sy kongsikan pengalaman pengurusan hotel kepada kami. Pengurusan hotel yang sangat baik dan jelas. Respon yang cepat dan jelas. Layanan yang sangat baik dan teratur. Penerangan yang sangat baik. Makanan yang disediakan sangat mencukupi dan beraneka jenis. Sangat recommended kepada mana mana. Organisasi yang ingin membuat jamuan atau apa2 majlis organisasi. Tempat yang selesa disediakan dengan harga yang berpatutan dgn peralatan yang lengkap. Akhir sekali terima kasih kerana memberikan pengalaman yang hebat dan layanan yang sangat baik kepada kami.

Nous avons été très agréablement surpris par la qualité de l'accueil, le design de grande qualité des chambres et surtout du mobilier des parties communes, par la décoration en général et la très grande gentillesse du personnel . Un grand merci tout spécial pour Yamni.

Bilik dan katil dia best. Breakfast nasi lemak dia sedap sambal nasi lemak dia memang rasa macam mak mak punya sambal. Sangat recommend pada semua orang. Lagi satu lunch lamb chop dia padu guys memang sedap dan Kene try. Tapi ni menu untuk lunch
