I attended a wedding with family at this lovely hotel. The food from my Lahore was outstanding. But the most impressive factor of the evening was the customer service from the Lahore staff. Rukhsana and mohammed Usman were outstanding. Made us feel really welcomed and served food with a smile.

Giving a one is still too much. I checked in with two young kids got given a room that reaks of smoke complaned and got told to check out nothing they can do till someone checks out. The room is dirty thebath tub not cleaned full of hair. If it wasn’t for a family wedding that has been booked here we would have left.

A very tired hotel. Very disappointed in Mercure’s offering. Staff were pleasant enough but being asked for a credit card impression at check in in case of damages rather than being asked in case you want to charge anything to your room is a palatable approach. The bedroom had clearly not damp dusted in some time. Questionable stains on the carpet added to the poor impression. Also a distinct lack of power sockets next to the bedside table offering is not acceptable in this day and age given we are all using mobile phones and both of us use CPAP machines. I am just grateful we do quite a lot of travel and always carry 2m extension sockets. Furniture shabby and chipped. Will never return .

The car park for this hotel was in better condition, more modern & cleaner than the inside of the hotel. It’s dated, dirty & poorly maintained. Our room had secondary windows which rattled all night, the curtains were falling down, the windows dirty, the bathroom had numerous long black hairs stuck to the toilet & sink. The bath plug hole was clogged with hair 🤢. The shower pressure was none existent, actually felt cleaner before the shower & not after. Our room was not cleaned or given fresh towels, had to ask reception for them. The only redeeming feature was the bed was comfortable. The hotel is so horrible that we checked for bedbugs & were surprised not to find any. If we had found any we would have made a sharpe exit!!

Room was OK and Julie receptionist was very welcoming. Food in the bar was shocking, £17 for New York Chicken see attached, think was char grilled wasn’t supposed to be if it had seen anything other than a microwave. Was supposed to stay for 3 days but course got cancelled travelled back up Tues 1/10 and very ill afterwards. Disgusting food and later found out from colleagues that you never eat in the hotel
