Well what can I say Julie is so nice and friendly, she was very welcoming to myself and my daughter when we arrived to check in. The hotel clearly has some history and I loved the wooden doors and the detail everywhere. The room 104 was perfect for our needs and very comfortable but It was too hot for us but the window did open and thankfully the heating went off after 9pm, maybe that’s something that needs looking into! I throughly enjoyed my bath and my 6 year old was happy so we will be returning on a regular basis so my daughter can attend her classes each Monday. Thank you !

Avoid this Hotel it might be the best Decision you ever make.

This is our experience and we are not alone Book a Hotel with Customer service there is no customer service at the BankField Hotel they are owned by Accor group who have no hold over the bad practices in place at this hotel REF (18416319) While we stayed at the Mercure Hotel Bankfield hotel the dates of our stay were from 18th December 2024 through to checkout on the 28th January 2025 a total of 41 nights at a cost of £2,983.65, We were assured that if we logged our vehicle Registration into the Terminal at the check in desk this would be sufficient for our stay which did and kept updating the log in as directed across the period of our stay at the Hotel, We were devastated to then receive to our old Address the attached 8 X fines which had eventually been redirected to our new address on the 12th of February 2025 this delay in redirection was due to a failure from Royal Mail Attached is there Apology letter dated 30th January 2025 confirming that they had internal issues in delivering the redirection , We were therefore unable to appeal the unjust fines within the 28days but did so immediately once we received the delayed mail, Already a Debt company (Debt Recovery Plus ) are now trying to increase the fines and pursue unjust claims on behalf of Smart Parking Ltd, After speaking with Debt Recovery Plus they have made it clear that Mercure Hotel would have to contact Smart parking Ltd and instruct them to cancel the unjust fines and only then would the persistent stream of unjust fines cease. As you can appreciate while our stay at the hotel was from 18th December 2024 to checkout on the 28th January 2025 meant it would be near impossible to receive correspondence as we were at the Hotel not at the Address where the fines were Mailed not only that but Royal Mail failed to delivery the redirection in fact Royal mail wasn’t delivering any mail across January due to the weather conditions in this area ie Heavy snow. When we checked into the Hotel we trusted this was a reputable Institution when we raised this issue with the Manager at the Hotel he was not interested which is disgraceful as well as the time this is taking to deal situation is a outrage. I trust as requested that you will endeavour to action the cancelation of the attached fines immediately as they are now causing alarm and distress. I look forward to hearing from you. Buon soggiorno, l'hotel avrebbe bisogno di un rinnovamento, tuttavia le camere sono accoglienti, ma "datate", il personale è stato molto gentile , la colazione a buffet soddisfaccene, parcheggio disponibile ed ampi spazi, la location è suggestiva ed immersa nel verde, e molto silenziosa..nelle ora di punta il traffico crea notevoli congestioni.

Hotel molto caratteristico per il tipo di struttura e arredamento. Stanza non molto grande e discretamente pulita anche se ho trovato qualche capello nel bagno. Colazione come in quasi tutti gli hotel inglesi molto scarsa x il mio standard. Personale cortese!

Ho trascorso due notti in questo hotel in occasione di un viaggio di lavoro. La struttura fonde due tipologie di edificio : reception e sale ristoranti stile classico , stanze moderne anche se un po' datate. Hotel pulito e confortevole ,personale gentile da migliorare il servizio della colazione.
