My recent stay at the Mercure Hotel Norwich in June was nothing short of great! The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. Their genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. Location-wise, the Mercure is ideally situated for exploring Norwich and the surrounding area, even with staying for work. Despite its convenient location, the hotel offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind.

I had an excellent stay for two nights for work. The receptionist was excellent - welcoming, friendly and informative. The food was good for evening meals and lots of choice for breakfast - both hot and continental. All staff were very friendly throughout the hotel. The room was two single beds and comfortable. The air con in the room was a god send as temperatures outside reached 30 degrees. Pretty good location for the airport and about a 10 minute car journey into town. I walked it in an hour on an easy route. Would stay again.

70th birthday party

For my wife’s 70th birthday party we made the arrangements with organiser Gillian at the Mercure hotel Norwich . She suggested that for 50+ guests the Presidential Suite would be ideal. The description given as to how the room and tables would be laid out was delivered perfectly. The food, considering it was mass catering was well above expectations. House wine on the tables was enjoyable and the serving and bar staff were efficient and helpful. All in all a great evening and at a reasonable cost.

Had to attend a meeting nearby to do with my job and this Hotel was recommended to me. Stayed the one night. Room was lovely and clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and every member of Staff I came into contact with were all just brilliant. Everyone so very helpful and friendly.

Lovely birthday weekend away

Stayed here for a night to celebrate my birthday with my husband. Lovely dinner, followed by a trip to the theatre and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The rooms were clean and tidy, air con was plus as we had a few hot days! Thank you to all the staff.
