I stayed at the Mercure Norwich for 5 days on business. Sadly the hotel lets down a fabulous bunch of staff. The hotel itself is extremely tired, dated and in desperate need of refurbishment. The staff however couldn’t do enough for us, they were so personable, approachable and friendly. From reception staff to the cleaners, all were a credit to the hotel and made what could have been a rather unpleasant stay a lot more comfortable. I would likely return to the Mercure, but purely for the excellent customer service. Thank you in particular, to Angie & all of the team.

The hotel is lovely. Older building but rooms were large, comfortable and beautifully clean. Staff were very responsive and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is out of town so you need taxis to travel in, but it was very easy and only about 8GBP each way.

As a regular customer, I am always there to give a great review, as always greetings are pleasant, especially Katherine, who is on the desk when I arrive. I always have a great sleep, never disturbed. Food and service are amazing. Ample parking.

Great friendly hotel which is convenient for Norwich International Airport and 10 - 15 minute taxi ride from the railway station. Friendly and welcoming staff, Catherine for the check in experience and Abbie for the check out are very helpful and cater for all your needs during your stay!
