Excellent hotel, simple and well organized, spacious room, welcoming and empathetic staff. Very good location for those who will stay at Barra da Tijuca or Parque Olimico our Samaritano Hospital. Very goog breakfast and nice swimming pool. Very clean and all the staff (reception, cleaning, assistant etc.) are well trained. Excellente WiFi and very good restaurant for lunch and dinner - good food really! Fair value for money.

Love the burger from the restaurant The room was great.the staff was very friendly and helpful.The room service was very promptly respond..The waitress by the name of Lola is very helpful and very accommodating..Even though i done speak Portuguese.we communicate very well in google translate..Wish her all the best for her future career and endeavors.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We traveled to Rio for leisure and the staff was very friendly. Beatriz and Marco were super helpful! The food was very good and the hotel is close to a shopping mall nearby. The hotel is also very clean and modern. I highly recommend this hotel.

Convenient hotel location, close to amenities and transport links for business. Friendly helpful staff, good food quality and clean accommodation. Ciao receptionist was particularly helpful and friendly. Hotel reception would benefit from a real coffee machine for those working out with restaurant hours.

I booked this Novotel based on the proximity to RioCentro where Web Summit took place. It had excellent TripAdvisor reviews too. Unfortunately, very basic hotel, with less than exciting location in the area of Rio that is not good either. The service was quite indifferent too, my Platinum status wasn't even acknowledged, I was told that the water in the room wasn't free either. I always get water bottles and Platinum amenity. The only bright spot was front desk representative Beatrice who tried hard to make our stay pleasant. The cost was reasonable too.The room looked old and dated, with mildew and mold, and it smelled of smoke. The room keys didn't work on several occasions. The breakfast was barely edible. All in all, I won't stay there again, and don't recommend this hoteL. Stayed in many Novotel hotels in the world, much better experience. Also, stayed in 2 other Accor hotels in Rio: Fairmont and Mercure, much better experience too. This hotel is listed as #1 hotel in Rio on Trip Advisor, this is straight up lie, alas! Not sure whether it is based on "old" experiences and stays, or made up reviews.
