It was a good experience as i stayed in the hotel for few nights. The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive for all requests. The room was clean and well maintained. Definitely this is where i will be staying for my upcoming visits to Riyadh

Ibis - an unwelcome Hotel

Just few days ago, I have rated Ibis at Olaya street as a good choice for lunch. The restaurant is almost exclusive and quite often i am the only one who is having lunch there. Now, I know why. The restaurant manager Mr. Mohammad. He is so rude even to the most polite and most regular guests like me. There is this daily 'dish of the day', i take every day. 46 SAR with 1 soup and 1 main course, mostly a chicken preparation. To get a soft drink, instead of the soup -- I had to request for weeks after weeks and yet my request is denied. Several men's good work can easily be spoilt by one man's behaviour. Strangely, in hospitality industry, every individual is the flag bearer of the brand and top management has to imbibe this thought deeply into ALL involved in running the establishment.

Unfortunately, We just can not do this with the same price of the meal as the fresh juice and soft drink are with different prices and are being sold separately. Thank you Rakan, the Front Office Manager for your warm welcome and understanding. The bed was very comfortable. Had an issue with reception telephone not picking for a while but Rakan was quick to resolve the issue when notified. I would only suggest the operator employees to be fully staffed during busy hours to ensure positive guest experience.
