The hotel had no air conditioning or heating, which wasn't mentioned during booking or check-in. Our room overlooked the train tracks, with trains passing by, and we had to sleep with the window open. The restaurant food was terrible, although the service was friendly. On Monday morning, the hotel was undergoing renovations, and the noise was unbearable. We didn't even receive an apology. It was a joy to leave that hotel, never to return.

Very convenient location by train station and steps from the old town. Room and facilities are clean and spacious enough, and the staff are kind and hospitable. My only major complaints are the room had a strange dirty foot smell upon entry and the AC doesnt seem to work fully. I stayed in September so it wasn’t too problematic. The bed is also not the most comfortable but fine for a few nights. I wouldn’t mind staying here again solely for the convenience of the location as a base for sightseeing within and beyond Avignon. If you’re looking for luxury and relaxation, look elsewhere.

Stayed for one night on our drive from the UK to the south of France and loved it! Our two sons wished we’d have stayed for longer. Great location, just a short stroll to the main city shops and cafes, also close to the train station. The hotel has such a fun and welcoming vibe with a lovely pool and bar area just off the main lobby. There is also a small pool table and table football and Chess and games you can take poolside. Pool water was cold but a lovely pool if you get the weather. The boys loved it all. Good sized room with a sofa bed for the children. Car parking underneath the hotel was easy. You’d struggle to find a better stopover hotel.

There is another review that talks about the air conditioning. Our room also is not cooling down, AC isn’t good here. I’m sure this is fine on a normal day/night, however during the extreme heat happening at the moment (today was 38 degrees), this is entirely disappointing.

Unacceptable – No AC during heatwave, no help at night We arrived during a heatwave in France. In our room, the air conditioning didn’t work. At check-in, they told us it would be working in 15 minutes — it never did. After an hour, staff confirmed it was broken. No alternative room was offered. They simply told us to “contact the booking website.” By the time we got two fans, it was late and my children had already fallen asleep in the unbearable heat. Sleeping without AC in such weather is unacceptable — especially after paying for a 4-star hotel. The next morning, the supervisor, Alicia, showed no empathy and claimed there was nothing she could do. She offered a free parking exit ticket we didn’t even need. Staff seemed completely uninterested in helping. This is not how guests should be treated. If you value comfort and basic service, look elsewhere.
