I had to accompany a 64 years female friend NRI, for 8 days from 14th Jun to 22nd Jun.This hotel has a unique situation and guests inflow is fantastic..The overall stay including boarding seemed to be routine and this hotel requires good master chefs, who left this hotel couple of months ago. Staff impressed me, Mr Devendhu khan, Mr. Mohan, Ms Sravanthi & Gayatri in front office... Restaurant: Mr Bhadru, Mr Dileep, Mr. Shanmukh Chowdari and Mr Umesh, impressed me throughout... Mr. Lama, chief chef was ensuring about the tastes with a SMILE... Mr. Nityanand, reservations was a helpful guy... I missed good south Indian chefs this time... Overall F&B, very satisfactory... Cons : The hotel is charging 5% VOLUNTERY SERVICE CHARGE for Stays & Restaurant which should have our prior approval...I did not see this collection in any other Accor group hotel like Pullman, where I stayed many times...This should be stopped immediately.... This hotel is giving complimentary 24 hours dining facility to Rats and bandicoots, who are passing in the lawns very freely...We stopped our stroll for afraid of Rats in this 5 star property... Please take some action and help elders like me... But for this location, I swear I can't come here...hoping for some more hotels on the beach side, like Radisson Blu, who reduced their tariff from 17k to just 7k.... More hotels should come with good comforts and very competitive tariff...

View and location is best in vizag. Every year I used to travel in March for last 6 years except in corona pandemic. But Now I really felt bad with following experiences. Hope Accor group to improve them immediately. 1. Reception people majority behaviour with me and others customers found are also worst - suggestion- Try to deploy from other locations of India 2. Food - for the first time I have effected with food poison in all these visits. - Don’t provide any complimentary snacks if you cannot provide or like to have cost cut. 3. Room ventilation became worst- suggestion- Replace all room filters in ducts and use robotic cleaners to clean ducts atleast once in two years. I guess it was not done after opening to till date. Seriously felt fresh air is missing and stayed in ground lobbies for most of the time. Big hazard as it is vizag. Also suggest to provide standalone fans in the room atleast. 4. No phone response in my 3 days of stay properly for in room dining, housekeeping, anything. Suggestion- separate Customercare people atleast two who can coordinate with all people are to taken because reception cannot do both. Felt very bad Customercare. 5. Ground floor dining area- except for billing- the total charm is missing. No proper assistance for the people who is having food. Very limited people and ignoring customers with out seeing them made unhappy. 6.washrooms Maintenence is very poor- to be improved by regular checks other than maintenance staff. 7. Came with total family- for vacation, marriage but felt bad because of food infection of Besan snacks. 8. I have not found any 5* star services this time. Everyone are working in horrible pressures with out a single smile on their faces. Everyone are trying to escape of their duties. I have also seen answers to many reviews to contact the quality manager which may also for no use until you improve quality in all these areas. It’s not one single person problem. 9. Plz take care of these and restore them at the earliest and save a beautiful property. 10. If anything mistaken by me accept my apologies also. Thank you.

In this trip I traveled with my father. What appealed to me is staff behavior. Each and every staff was attentive with a smile. They took care of our needs very well. Will name few examples, changing my room as I did not like the one offered to me for the view which was my priority and cleanliness(one can't expect a bindi stuck on wooden panel at Novotel atleast.) The housekeeping guy named Ganesh always took care of us with a smile. I would also mention the Square staff were awesome including chef for providing just the kind of food I needed for my elderly father. I would like to stay at this property again.

Very worst staff management. 1st of all they overcharged on my card and unable to refund the balance amount during check out. 2nd we ordered coffee in room and after waiting for 45mins got to know the order is not placed. During check out staffs took almost hour for billing. Treat your staff how to be proffessional. Also as a Accor member i didnt get any benefits.

Happy with housekeeping and service , but food quality wasn’t up-to the mark. Wait period for the food orders is way too long. Room for improvement in this category is required . Satisfactory in other areas
