This hotel is very handily placed for the railway station, literally across the road. The staff are all very helpful and very friendly. The interior of the room is basic but functional. In reception they provide 24 hour tea machine and cold drinks which is very welcome.

Really friendly, great room, everything you need, comfy bed, free water/tea/coffee and in a really great spot! Even though our room faced the station, with the window closed you don't hear a thing. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Hotel was really easy to find from station and only about 10 mins from Roman Amphitheatre (out otherwise station). Room was decent size, although shower was in room, it was separated with design. Paid extra for breakfast, worth it. Aware budget hotel so happy that had soap, paper cups and bath mat provided. This was changed for 2nd night when had none of these. Not bothered except for lack of bath mat which makes it dangerous/slippy getting out of shower. Room also had really effective fan. As with previous Ibis budget furniture functional and practical with some good ideas like side table/stool.

First things first. This is, in fact, two hotels with a shared reception and dining area. I stayed in the 'budget' end and the room, although spartan, was perfectly adequate. The biggest selling point though is the staff who, to a man, are friendly and helpful. Also the breakfast is far better than most 'budget' offerings. As others have said, it's perfect for the train station and is a short walk from Nimes's roman history.

Well placed for Nimes Airport/trains - but would stay longer as Nimes lovely!

Needed a hotel near station/airport shuttle to get flight home. But this hotel was better than expected - and Nimes deserves a day or two looking at the roman historical sites etc. IBIS Budget Hotel is right across the road from the train station (back exit for bus connections) and is situated in same building as IBIS Styles so don't be confused! They have the same reception area/dining area - you just head to different sides of the hotel for your selected room. Stayed in budget part of hotel. Quirky rooms with clever and efficient use of space having shower/sink 'in room' and toilet in its own cubicle. Bed very comfortable, good shower. We really only needed a bed for the night and this more than sufficed. Reviews had shown people rated the breakfasts well and this is well justified. Excellent choices of continental but also scrambled egg, pancakes and waffles. Lots of continental breads and croissants and as we were eating staff brought out freshly baked madeleines (delicious!). Lots of fruit and impressed with the use of loose teas and recyclable bags to make your own teabags. Shuttle for airport right outside and staff at check in checked times and prices for us. We had only one night there but the roman arena is gorgeous and there were several restaurants beside this. Highly recommend the fillet steak at Chez Hubert. Gorgeous! Better than expected experience and ideal for what we needed.
