Ibis' cheap-and-cheerful brand really shines through in this location. Excellent value for money. Great location away from the tourist traffic, surrounded by restaurants and bars. Taxi stand just outside. Tour desk in the lobby. Very helpful and cheerful staff. Slept well on a good mattress.

A Typical Ibis in a Lively (and Noisy) Location

You know exactly what to expect when booking an Ibis Hotel — and this one is no different. The location is hard to beat: right in the heart of the city, surrounded by restaurants and bars. In fact, one of the city's most acclaimed restaurants is just across the street. However, this prime location comes with a downside: noise. Some nearby bars stay open late, and the sound can carry well into the night. If you're a light sleeper, this is something to consider — or ask for a quieter room (if available). Some rooms have been refurbished, but mine was an older one and showed signs of wear. Still, it was spacious enough to comfortably fit our luggage. There was a small desk with a view of the (noisy) street and an empty minibar fridge. You can buy items from the hotel bar or bring your own from outside. In my opinion, the bed was a drawback — just okay, but far from truly comfortable. The bathroom was also reasonably spacious. Special mention goes to the shower, which was excellent. Wi-Fi is free, but for a faster connection you need to be a member of their rewards program. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a variety of fresh options — a great way to start the day with energy! Both the reception and hotel bar are open 24 hours. The reception staff were friendly, although the check-in process felt a bit slow. On the other hand, checkout was quick and efficient. This is Ibis — it delivers exactly what it promises. I would consider staying again in the future, though the noisy neighborhood might lead me to explore other options.

Stayed here 2 nights to visit both sides of Iguazu falls. Centrally placed amongst restaurants. VERY NOISY UNTIL SMALL HOURS because of Agrobar next door filled with youth being antisocial and very loud music. Rooms small but adequate, bed comfortable. Has fridge but NO GLASSES for water, no tea/coffee in room. Breakfast very good but busy

Delicious breakfast with choice of fruits cheese breads. Good coffee machine, actually two of them ! Nice staff in the breakfast area and front desk. The bedroom is the traditional Ibis with a large bed, air works well. Excellent location with many restaurants and bar with live music nearby,

My stay at the IBIS Hotel in Foz do Iguazu was a practical and straightforward experience typical of the IBIS brand. Located conveniently near the famous Iguazu Falls, this hotel offers exactly what budget-conscious travelers need: clean, no-frills accommodation with reliable standards. While it won't win awards for luxury, the hotel provides a solid, predictable base for exploring the incredible natural wonder of the falls and the surrounding region. LOCATION: Perfectly situated for tourists, the hotel is relatively close to Iguazu National Park and offers easy access to transportation. It's within reasonable driving distance of both the Brazilian and Argentine sides of the falls, making it an ideal base for travelers wanting to explore the area. The surrounding neighborhood is safe and provides quick connections to major attractions. DINE + DRINK: The hotel's restaurant serves a standard buffet breakfast typical of IBIS properties - nothing extraordinary but sufficient. There's a small bar area for casual drinks and light snacks. ROOM: We stayed in Room 553, so this review is based on that; The Room was exactly what you'd expect from IBIS: clean, compact, and efficiently designed. Standard amenities include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a work desk, and a compact bathroom. The rooms here are maintained to the brand's consistent quality standards - functional rather than luxurious. FACILITIES: No Gym or Pool on site SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Small Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment pretty much in PORTUGUESE language!
