“Good hotel for a budget trip. The lady at reception was nice and gave us an early check-in. However, the AC in our room was a bit noisy. The beach is not too far — you can walk there.”

Old with a strang smell

The hotel is very dated and the rooms have a strange smell (possibly due to their policy of allowing pets in the room). The mattresses are very lumpy and very uncomfortable and I woke up with a sore back after a very bad night's sleep and I normally sleep without interuption. The pillows are thin and they only supply two, if you want more there is an extra charge (I have never heard of a hotel charge for supplying extra pillows in 30 years of visiting Thailand) The televsions are small and the reception poor so it looks like you are watching TV through a snow storm. They are also boxed in so you can't access the HDMI inputs meaning that you can't plug in a laptop or other device, if you want to watch Netflix or other streaming services rather than Thai TV. The component input is exposed but has anyone used a component input this century or have a device that can connect to component inputs nowadays? Car parking isn't on site and when the traffic is bad, it can take 10 minutes to get to (it is only a couple of minutes walk but obviously you have to get your car there in the first place)

As for the car parking, we apologize for the inconvenience. While our parking area is located nearby, traffic conditions can at times affect accessibility. Worst Accor east of Suez

I really hate trashing places and leaving bad reviews but this Ibis is by far the vey worst accor property in all of Asia. I’m an Accor D6, Platinum/Diamond member, Accor Shareholders Club, Accor+ and Signature member, so believe me what I’m telling you.The room was so dirty I cancelled most of my stay. They cut corners on everything. Be it on coffee to take away, be it on air conditioning. This was my absolutely last stay after 8 years I’ve been visiting Hua Hin and this place. First they didn’t maintain the shuttle bus to the city center, a valuable asset. Instead they prefer to let the bus stay idly on the parking lot . They apologized saying they don’t get enough staff. I always See 3 people at the reception, two playing on their cellphones. Put them into the shuttle. I am still waiting for my stay refund, considering seriously talking with Accor France about this more than neglected hotel. Then ,breakfast is always crowded , food quality in general is super bad except for the fruit which they hardly replenish. Food was always cold to lukewarm. Even 15 minutes after they brought it out. The location is at the very end of Hua Hin, there is nothing but a seven eleven and a 7 km march to the city center. Look at my pictures and see how dirty and filthy the carpets and the hotel is in general. Look at the filthy upholstery in the restaurant. Well, I’m out, don’t worry, you’ll never have to deal with discerning customers again. Big,but big disappointment.

Regarding the carpets and upholstery, while they may appear worn, they are cleaned regularly and have never been neglected. However, we are reviewing ways to enhance the overall condition of our facilities. Regarding the shuttle service, I would like to reiterate that we have not provided this service for more than five years. As a repeating guest, we have previously clarified this with you during your past stays. We understand that transportation convenience is important, and while we do not offer a shuttle, we will take your feedback into account when evaluating ways to enhance guest accessibility in the future. As for your comments about our staff, I must respectfully address the perception regarding mobile phone usage. In today’s hospitality industry, technology plays a crucial role in enhancing guest services. Our team often uses mobile devices to look up information, communicate with guests, and handle operational tasks more efficiently. However, we do understand that staff presence and attentiveness are key factors in guest satisfaction, and we will reinforce service standards to ensure a more engaging and responsive experience for all our guests. In terms of food quality, we appreciate your honest feedback. We work closely with a certified nutritionist to ensure that our breakfast offerings meet reasonable standards. While we continuously strive to balance quality, variety, and affordability, we acknowledge that individual preferences may vary. We will review our menu selection and service procedures to improve the overall dining experience. For this stay, we fully accept and appreciate all your feedback, as it serves as a valuable lesson for us. Your comments motivate us to improve further and take stronger measures to prevent such issues from occurring again in the future. Guest satisfaction is our top priority, and we will use this as an opportunity to enhance our service standards. Once again, I truly regret that we did not meet your expectations.
