I treated myself to a prestige room for a short visit. The hotel is wonderfully located for walking out to nice small restaurants. And the staff are most helpful and friendly. The rooms are not large, but they are comfortable and in spite of being on a main bouvlevard, they are quiet.

This hotel has the most helpful and pleasant reception and breakfast room staff, always felt so welcome. Great location easy walking distance from old town and touristy sections. Hotel was great value.

Worst room ever in a Accor Hotel

The title says it ll. And the photos I posted will simply confirm this. Room was tiny (not a surprise as this was mentioned in the hotel descirption), awful view, constant noise from other rooms, dreadful decoration from the 90s and corridors that reminded me the places I stayed at when I was a student with a limited budget. This hotel deserves 2* max and is a disgrace for Accor. I am rating the experience 2 (and not 1) because staff at front desk was nice + attentive and the location of the hotel is in a decent + convenient area (10 min. from Part Dieu train station and 35 min. walk from the city centre).

We stayed here for one night in January 2023. We took a taxi from the airport, which cost 55 euros. The hotel is located close to the main train station (Lyon Part Dieu), about a 15-20-minute walk away. We walked to the historic centre which was about 3 km away and that took about half an hour. There are lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel and it seems to be in a safe area. The room was fairly large and comfortable and, even though our room was facing the street, we had no problem with noise. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. For what we paid we found this somewhat overpriced.

The taxi indeed seems a bit expensive but we don't know at what time and on what day you took it, the price is rather around 45-50 € during the day. For information, a Rhone Express shuttle connects the Part Dieu station to the airport in 20 minutes, the ticket price is 16 € per person. You can benefit from a discount of -5% minimum throughout the year if you have the ALL loyalty card (free), do not hesitate to register directly on our website, you will also be informed of all exceptional promotions. Location is very good for main train station and the hotel is surrounded by some nice bars and restaurants - BUT: Room - possibly the smallest double room I have ever stayed in and no wardrobe - just 6 hangers between 2 walls - I am not making this up! I haven't been in a hotel without a wardrobe since I was a student in Greece. I had to leave items hanging from the corner of the TV! Breakfast - the woman in charge of attending to guests at breakfast was utterly devoid of any customer service skills or perhaps it was just my imagination when she blanked me constantly when she heard my accent and continued to serve French guests with great enthusiasm... Min bar - poorly stocked, no beers or wine
