Sehr großes Zimmer, war auch im Erdgeschoß nicht zu laut. Frühstücksraum mit schönem Außensitz. Gepflegter Pool, Wasser war sehr erfrischend. Zu Fuß etwa 15 Min bis Water Tank mit Banken, Restaurants (Tipp: Nagarjuna) und Shops. Schöner Park am Ende der Strasse.

Ich nächtige in jedem Bangalore Visit im GrandMercure. Jedesmal bin ich zufrieden. Es gibt meinerseits nichts zu beanstanden. Eine kleine Verbesserungsmöglichkeit: Bei Check-In bekommt man immer einen Gutschein über 1000INR für eine Massage. Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass an mehreren Stellen eindeutig hervor geht, dass der Gutschein nicht auf alle Massagen des Hauses angewandt werden kann.

Ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen auch wenn es 3 Uhr früh am morgen war. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind sauber, geräumig und ruhig bis auf die Klimaanlage. Die Klimaanlage ist sehr laut und ich hatte sie ausgeschaltet, da es nicht allzu warm war. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Das Hotel liegt ruhig und bietet dadurch einen angenehmen Schlaf. Der Weg zum Stadtzentrum ist mit Auto nicht sehr weit entfernt. Als Geschäftsreisender habe ich die ruhige Atmosphäre sehr genossen. Das WiFi ist zuverlässig und überall im Hotel verfügbar. Zimmer mit Kitchenette, Sitzecke, Essecke, Schlafzimmer und Bad ist gut ausgestattet. Sauberkeit ist gut. Die Dusche könnte eine kleine Renovierung vertragen, war aber voll funktionstüchtig. Das Frühstück ist toll mit viel Auswahl und Zubereitung diverser optionaler, frisch zubereiteter Speisen. Restaurant ebenfalls von sehr guter Qualität, das Essen ist sehr gut gewesen. Alles in Allem ein tolles Hotel mit gutem Service sowie schönem Ambiente.

Das Personal ist stets bemüht und meint es sicher gut. Aber für westliche Reisende, die zumal noch viel in Asien unterwegs sind, ist das Bild nicht stimmig. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt sind die Preise für Essen und Trinken in den Restaurants. Die sind, gelinde gesagt, eine Frechheit. Maßlos überzogen und der Qualität nicht mal annähernd angemessen. Viel Soße und wenig Huhn, das geht besser. Und, es gehört mal wieder was investiert. Es kommt mehr und mehr in die Jahre und es wird wohl Zeit, dass ich mir eine Alternative suche. Fällt mir sicher schwer, weil ich schon mehr als 10 Jahre in diesem Haus übernachte.

Die Zimmern sind recht groß, was ich aber dazu sagen muss, dass ich das letzte Mal einen größeren Zimmer bekommen hatte. Es gibt viele Stellen, die nicht sauber waren wie z.B. Balkontüre (sehr staubig) oder im Bad.

Hotelzimmer war sauber, gut eingerichtet. Bei Frühstücks-Bufet wenig Abwechslung für einen längeren Aufenthalt.
