The Ibis Budget offers good, clean rooms and very good value. A 5-10 minute walk to Torun's wonderful Stare Miasto. It's just beyond the large Hotel Copernicus, 300m west of the bridge. 15 minute walk from the bus station: from Torun Glowny station, take bus 22 or 27 from the Kujawaska exit over the river towards town and get off at the first stop.

For short time hotel is ok - service on very low level,eg no shampoo, not enough towels,small rooms, very basic breakfast with no additional extras. Rooms very clean. Nearly perfect location: - nearby the river, for long distance walking... - max. 10 min. walking to historic city centre and main square - quiet street - parking area in hotel yard (to pay for) or at the street - very freindly multilingual staff - dogfriendly

The hotel was ideally suited for our needs.Given a warm welcome by staff on our late arrival.The twin room was very good for a mid range hotel and was of a good size and very clean.The bathroom was fitted with a shower to die for.The breakfast was of an ample and very good standard.The staff were excellent and attentive.Would definitely visit again.

We stayed at the IBIS Budget in Torun as my wife was competing in the World Masters Athletics Championships in March. The hotel was clean, excellent value with very friendly staff. The rooms were valeted each day. No kettles in the rooms but there is hot water available in the breakfast area (flask/insulated bottle useful) or for 3 Zloty a coffee or tea can be purchased throughout the day and night) Lots of parking. Breakfasts extra but can be booked night before and is excellent value. Torun centre is about a 10 minute walk and the riverside walk is 2 minutes away. Trams and buses are near for further distances. Stadium arena was a 15-20 minutes walk. A visit to nearby brine spa town, Ciechocinek, is highly recommended.

Basic but clean accommodation, well located for the Old Town. 20 mins walk from the sports arena. No kettles in rooms but tea/coffee facilities available in the dining room. Breakfasts are fantastic, self-service but no limits!
