Went here as a family and had an great time. The receptionist: Mr son tung was amazing and helped us out throughout the stay. The hotel is surrounded by good restaurants and you can take a free shuttle to the beach

It was a wonderful stay at the hotel, the hospitality was amazing from the bellmen: Hoa, Duong, Lam, Vu till the receptionist: Hue, Quyen, Quang Linh. The food was fresh and delicious too.

Disappointing Experience for a Premium Brand

This was, without question, one of the worst service experiences we have encountered at a so-called 5-star hotel. From meeting operations to gala dinner execution and group check-in, Pullman Vung Tau demonstrated poor service culture, untrained staff, and a complete lack of hospitality professionalism. Staff were unwelcoming, slow, uncooperative, and in some cases outright discourteous to guests. Basic operational standards such as: On-site event support Guest guidance Timely banquet service Proper portion control Dedicated group check-in were consistently ignored. What is most concerning is that this occurred during non-peak occupancy, where service quality should have been at its best. Accor frequently promotes itself as one of the best hospitality management groups globally. If this is an example of Pullman’s “premium” service standard, it seriously contradicts that claim. Ironically, Ibis hotels under Accor’s economy segment deliver far warmer and more genuine service. This raises a legitimate question: Is premium branding an excuse for poor attitude? A professional hospitality-trained staff member should instinctively apologize and recover service failures immediately. Unfortunately, no apology was offered until our team had to initiate a lengthy discussion post-event — making it feel insincere and procedural. We do not recommend Pullman Vung Tau for corporate events or group stays. Our company will never return nor cooperate again.

I have been in Pullman Vung Tau with family trip from 26 Nov to 30 Nov 2025. I have some reviews to highlight below: 1/ At the date I came to check in, I need to ask for the welcome drink, no welcome drink station or any staff provide the welcome drink until I request. So different with other International 5 Star Hotels, only Pullman Vung Tau is International 5 Star Hotel in Vung Tau as I knew. 2/ Spa and Massage is not available, TV in room can not access to Youtube. 3/ The FO staff no have smile, face look like so stress. 4/ The Beach under Pullman support is quite far, about 1km to the Hotel, need to go buy Pullman van, we buy the Beach service but the driver still not pay attention on the band, he drop somewhere at beach until I asking him why I buy the beach package and wear the band, he just saw our Hotel Band and then send to the Pullman Beach area, during transportation he mention about traffic jam condition, very hard bla bla...etc so if we can come back by taxi is good. This is not professional as you are the 5 Stars Service, another negative point. 5/ About Housekeeping Team: She just put the towels on top of the drawer, why not hang for the customer, this just take 1 min 6/ Staying 4 nights with 1 laundry bag in room, when I ask for 1 more laundry bag, the Receiptionist told me that hotel will charge 100,000VND/bag 7/ The restaurant less of staff, want to order something need to wait so long and need to looking for waiter or waitress, they all busy, they focus on their job but nobody to look around monitor the customer request. 8/ I went to restaurant for dinner with 2 water bottle from my room, during waiting for food, I go to take water from the water dispenser inside restaurant, I think this is for everyone, suddenly 1 waiter come to stop me when I come back to my table, he mention the water dispenser is for Breakfast Buffet tomorrow that I can not take, I say apologize to him, I did not know because no have any signed board there, after I come back to my place another waiter come to ask me about my 2 bottle of Aquafina on my table, he mention "Are these water bottle from the previous customer? not from you ?" I kindly explain to him these 2 water bottle I bring from room because I plan to go out after dinner, after I explain then he go, but this conversation make me feeling the training process here have some problem. How come International 5 star Hotel staff not get the good train like that. 9/ Parking area at the Basement floor, need to facilitate with fans and complete the ground construction, as I feel smell of cement or concrete, put more light please, so dark. Good Point is the Room is new, beautiful room, Lobby high level of great decoration, I will come back to stay in another day in future to see the improvement as you are only one International 5 Star Hotel in Vung Tau until now.
