Perfectly located - airport, tram stop & railway station all close by. Brilliantly furnished rooms, superb breakfast & extremely courteous staff made my stay a very welcome experience. Lea was exceptional!

very good location (some minutes of walk from the airport (teminal 1), from public transport and railway station, clean and calm hotel (with swimming pool..), and with usual fantastic Ibis breakfast

Best staff and a comfortable, extremely clean hotel. Decent swimming pool, quiet. Good breakfast. Jasmine at the reception was without doubt, friendly, helpful, and did her best job for us. Hotel is walking distance to the airport, but is in the business part of Nice with limited restaurant. choices.

No kettle, tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Nor fridge. Paid £148 for one night and arrived weary & hot from travel about 4pm. Was annoyed at the lack of facilities. Took our bags up to the room but too tired to come back dow again to get a drink! Went to sleep and awoke at 9pm. Went down to Reception to find the kettle etc they had shown me earlier was gone! A popcorn machine was in its place for some reason. I just wanted a hot drink. I could only understand from the receptionist something like ' not after 4pm' Did she mean no hot drinks?? I said this is not good enough!! She said its ok I will get you one then proceeded to giggle with her friend and ignore me. After a while the kettle came out. I was told to fill it at a water machine. Afterwards she said I could take a bottle of water to our room. Which I did but upstairs found it to be sparkling water. And it's so hot the water didn't stay cool for long. I would never have booked this if I'd have known there were no facilities in the room.! Very poor. The previous day I had 2 emails from them saying I had to check in online b4 midnight whilst I was trying to enjoy the last day in France. I did so but this had no benefit on checking in on the day. Complete waste of time. The only redeeming feature was the excellent breakfast the following morning. You could boil your own eggs, toast, cakes, breads, croissant, pain du chocolat, savory cakes, ham, cheeses, hot drinks, juices, jams ,cereals with all kinds of toppings and juices and a very polite staff serving too. Beds were comfy, shower weak.

Difficulties definitely. Maybe due to language

Poor communication from front desk. We arrived via rental car and chose this hotel due to its proximity to the airport. The problems began with misdirections to the parking garage. The front desk agent said it's around the back but didn't mention that there are 2 different garages. I paid for parking at the desk and drove up but went into the wrong garage. Next was a comedy of errors too long to describe except we couldn't get out eventually requiring the front desk to come down and talk on the intercom in French to open the gate. Next we told the front desk we were going to return the car the night before to avoid hassle for our 7am flight. He said no problem and just call the hotel and they will come over and pick us up ( Murphy's law). Just finding a gas station with gps took 1/2 hour with multiple turns. Apple seemed better than google. The problems really started with calling the hotel . Using Verizon international plan dial 011 country code 33 drop the zero than dial the rest of the number (EASY. Ha ha) The hotel would not send the shuttle because we had already checked in. It took us another 45 minutes to find our way around the maze back to the hotel which was literally 100 m across the street from the airport. Upon checkout again were problems with the desk telling us there was frequent shuttles to the airport and be down at 4:30. I arrived at 4:23 and asked him to wait. He took off and let us wait 20 minutes to return. Although all sounds minor miscommunication leads to poor feelings and bad reviews. Room ok. Window only opens a crack so forget fresh sea breeze. Breakfast great. Dinner poor choices and as everything else in France overpriced. Walk to downtown and beach 2km. But public transportation was great. Paying attention to details would help get a better review.

It seems you made this comment to the wrong hotel as you are complaining about the airport shuttle, restaurant and parking but at Ibis Styles nice airport we have no shuttle service, no restaurant and the parking is a public parking down the hotel and it's only 1 parking. So if you are able to change this comment and add it to the right hotel would be grate. For the next time our team will be happy to welcome you at Ibis Styles Nice airport.
