We booked this hotel for a late arrival for 1 night, after checking that they have a restaurant & a bar. However, on arrival we found no restaurant at all, also for snacks they sale just some diet biscuit bars. At the bar we were able to get some beers. Check-in were very slow as one was handing over to next person for the night. We were told it take time since 1 of them is new and take time, so asked us to sit and wait. We wanted to go to the room, rest and sleep instead we spend more than 45 mts. drinking beers until they are ready to check-in us.

My wife and I were very disappointed with this Hotel. The room did not smell clean as if smokers had been there before. In the evening and early morning outside in the parking area a group of people were hanging around making noice and smoking so that it was impossible to have a window open which was not very nice since this hotel does not have airconditioning. And internet was virtually nonexistent, 3mb down and 1mb up. Not at all what we are used to from Ibis Hotels who have all been wonderful up to now. Summing up, I cannot not recommend this hotel to anybody, but the town Melsungen its very pretty and nice to visit

The hotel was terrible for three nights and four days they never changed our towels we asked for them but they were never granted but they were promised to us the room was dirty the service was bad the breakfast poor the parking little the location uncomfortable and therefore we will never go back and I would not recommend this hotel even my worst enemy. During our time at this hotel the room was never made up the room was never cleaned and when we asked the receptionist about it she laughed in our faces.

It is such a relief coming back to this hotel. Nothing complicated, but clean rooms, parking places for cars with easy access to room, excellent breakfast and as the hotel has no restaurant, the possibility for eating pizza or other ordered meals outside if weather is nice och in the breakfast room.

Basic, excellent location and good value

Third visit, location suits me very well, as it's a steady day's drive from the Hook of Holland. It's a basic, slightly old fashioned IBIS. That said, it's clean, quiet, efficient and reasonably good value. The only oddity this time was seeing a mouse at the bottom of the stairs by the reception. Told the staff.
