The hotel has spacious rooms as compared to many other Ibis that I stayed before. The rooms are also clean and new. The hotel reception was also very helpful. The hotel is just next to the main train station which makes it quite easy to get to. If you want to visit famous tourist attractions like Baden-Baden or Strassbourg, this is probably a good town to stay in. Cheaper and quieter. Only down side of the room is there are very limited power point and not very conveniently located.

Good location if travelling by train. We had a good sized room with a large bathroom. We did need to open the windows to get as much fresh air as we liked and, being next to the Hauptbahnhof, it can be noisy (but absolutely silent with the windows closed). As usual with the Ibis chain it was clean, efficient, and practical. Prices very considerably depending how busy they are. We paid an average of 1200euro per night for 1 room / 2 people, which I think was ok value, but on our last night they were asking 190 euros for guests who had not booked in advance, and in my view that was high for the quality of hotel (but then it's a matter of supply and demand) Our only criticism is that the chambermaids did not come into our room, even to empty the bins - which we raised with reception (presumably this would have been sorted out if we had been staying longer)

This place is located right next to the train, so it's in a perfect location! Walking to town isn't a bad walk and it's super close to the zoo. We stayed here while doing stuff in the Black Forest. There's working AC and the staff is nice. Room is more spacious than many of the others during our trip. Had a desk and some space to store your things.

I had the opportunity to spend nine days in this hotel. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Most of them have a working knowledge of English, which was a great help for me. They do not have coffee/tea-making facilities in the room. For me, it is a severe drawback. Housekeeping is also not as efficient. They just made the bed and never cleaned the room. The location is very convenient. They are within walking distance from the central train station and have a tram stop just in front of the hotel.
