The hospitality of staff at the front office were great , Room size , Location, everything is great except Air Conditioning which is locked to 23 degrees because of which I can't sleep all night I call front office early morning technician cam and he said it is hotel policy to keep temperature any where between 22-23 which was locked at 23 in my room, early morning Ms chandrani kept to my rescue and change my room which has locked temperature of 21 in which I can sleep for couple of hours, being 5 star grade hotel i was not expecting this cost cutting things which normally budget hotels do, I am member of ALL plus program and frequently visit accor properties here in India and abroad this is first time I have faced this issue. I would request hotel management to review and remove this lock temperature system from all rooms. Except this everything is great at this hotel specially front office staff.

Very comfortable stay at the suite... Good brekfast. Polite staff..... No waiting for checkout or checkin..... Multiple counters for breakfast, fruits could have been better though. Tea was good...................................

Worst Stay and Experience

This has been my worst experience at any Novotel property to date, and it is deeply disappointing given the brand’s usual standards. 1. Bellboy Negligence: Upon arrival, the bellboy forgot one of my bags in the cab and only removed two out of three. I was fortunate that the cab driver, on his own initiative, returned the bag to me at the check-in counter. Despite this, the bellboy was inattentive and left my luggage next to the scanner instead of bringing it into the lobby as is customary. 2. Room Hygiene Issues: The state of the room was shocking and unacceptable. The WC toilet bowl was filthy upon entry, as were the chairs and carpets. Such unhygienic conditions are inexcusable and reflect poorly on your housekeeping standards. Infact the passage of the floor and lift were in absolute run down conditions. 3. Inadequate Response to Complaint: After reporting these issues, I requested the Duty Manager to escalate the matter to a Senior Manager. Instead, a housekeeping supervisor, dressed in an unkempt and dirty uniform, was sent to assess the situation. This response lacked professionalism and further compounded my frustration. To make matters worse, after sending three detailed emails regarding my complaints, the replies I received were dismissive and failed to address the seriousness of the situation. Novotel should either get the property audited ( as they are terribly failing) or remove their name out of this hotel

Very good experience stay at Kolkata Novotel for a two days "marathon parties". Breakfast was good and place is convenient, a shopping mall Axis is just besides it. Service staffs very attentive and helpful. My favourite hotel stay, Novotel!
