It's always great to return to a place that feels like home. The reception team took such good care of me, on such short notice. The kitchen staff took good care of me as well. I had a last minute online meeting and couldn't come down. The only thing that I ask, is for management to give those like me the choice of eating breakfast in our rooms. I missed a bit of work having to go down to breakfast. Other than that, I loved my room.

Not so customer focused

I was frustrated with the focus on policy over people. It seemed like employees are not empowered to take care of customer needs. They are more like robots only checking computers to make decisions about taking care of customers.

Best hotel to stay for short period

It was a great hotel to stay for short period while I have scuba diving in Fujairah. They are so friendly. The hotel is cleaned and sanitizing all the rooms. The room was large and cleaned. Lots of parking lots. They have a gym and swimming pool

Amazing Stay

Had an amazing Stay thanks to Novotel Fujairah team for a great weekend. The room for super clean and the bed was so soft and luxurious. The F&B and The front office team were exceptional. Especially the F&B manager Mr Alek and duty manager Mr Shahid were so helpful and kind. Very professional approach to Covid -19 with regular temperature check on entry as well as lots of hand sanitizing stations. Highly recommend hotel . Will soon plan to visit the hotel again.

Terrible Experience

Had a very bad experience and surely regret my stay in Novotel, would have been better if booked in Arjan Rotana which is a stone throw distance from this place. The service was bad and the rudeness with which the reception reacted to our feedback made it more worse.

A great place to quarentine

I walked into a quiet, clean, spacious, and well lit lobby. The guard who takes my temperature wasn't there to greet me or take my temperature. I am negative for COVID-19, so it's ok. I waited for a little while, then I was greeted, checked-in, and asked to wait for my keys and my room to be made ready. I do not know if I received an upgrade. But I missed my fruit platter with chocolate strawberries, and card. I hope I get it next time. My dinner was on the house because it was a little late. I was surprised and grateful Housekeeping did a very good job of making sure my room was cleaned and gave me the water I needed.

Nice start, unpleasant end

Nice friendly check in. Enjoyable relaxed staying. Unfortunately, the person who did the check out for me wasn't wearing the mask properly (the mask covers only the mouth, the nose wasn't covered). This shows that eather the staff don't take safety precaution seriously or there is no proper induction.

Superb, though short stay at Novotel FUJ

Had a very short overnight trip to Fujeirah in July'20 (during the COVID situation) and decided to stay at the (relatively still) new Novotel. The hotel's building is quite tall and is actually occupied by 3 of ACCOR's distinct brands: Novotel, Ibis & Adagio. They all have separate entrances from different sides of the building. Location of the hotel is superb - right behind the hotel is FUJ airport (not at all a busy airport, so don't worry about the aircraft noise). It's at a walking distance from the town center (Fujeirah is quite a small city). Just across the street from the hotel is LuLu Hypermarket - a huge megastore, where you can get everything from a hairpin to flying drones. There are also several stand-alone restaurants/cafes close to the hotel at a walking distance. For a really reasonable but quality lunch/dinner, you can walk a few steps to 'Caesers', if you've not booked full-board at the hotel and don't want to spend a lot on hotel food (although, I must say, I looked at the hotel's in-room dining as well as restaurant menus - NOT AT ALL expensive). Did not try any of the F&B outlets at the hotel, since most of them were closed due to the COVID situation. Instead of buffet breakfast, a packed breakfast set (with 4 different options to choose from) was served in the room. Not so great, but it was ample. Room/bathroom were clean, nicely designed and spacious. On requesting, they allotted a room in the top floor of the building with a view of the airport. Lots of parking space was available right in front of the lobby. Since I had driven there with my own car, I could park my car very easily. Overall, the stay was comfortable and without any problems. Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. A hotel very well recommended, if you're looking for a really nice accommodation for a good value.

Wonderful stay at this gem of a hotel. Well managed hotel and a great facility. By far the best overall staff as all the hotel personnel we encountered were very pleasant, professional, and supportive. It started with Muna at the front desk. He was professional, engaging and very helpful. He is a great company rep and his behavior should be emulated by other staff throughout the ACCOR network. The dining experience was great with an excellent variety and attentive servers.

Standard room was very bad many things was not working or broken

In short the room was lacking of service and maintenance shower head is broken and leaking and wasn't replaced the bathroom glass door doesn't have a stopper it will keep on swinging in and out Privacy glass for the bathroom is not working Drain is clogged Room number 1803 to verify it

Last minute stay at reasonable price including a lovely breakfast, with variety of options. Room was really clean and spacious, with sizeable bathroom. Highly recommended. Staff were extremely professional and excellent service.

Novotel Fujairah is a top choice for us specially with kids being attracted to the brand. Clean hotel with a well rounded service and great facilities for fitness. Although located in the city by the side of the road, it is a very good choice for a weekend getaway.

As a frequent visitor, hotel remains FAB in its location, accessibility, guest services, check-in, check-out. Room allotted was good. Staff deserves KUDOS, especially Jumi from reception. She does know how to make a customer journey a good experience!Drawback - Room carpets needs revamp

Family Trip with Fishing

My family visited Fujairah go on a day trip fishing rather driving back to Dubai we decided to stay over night. The hotel was great value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It would have been nice to cook some of the and to be able to cold store some. It would also be nice to have more English channels on the TV, but only as long as it doesn't cause rates to climb.

My last minute search ended at Novotel again, this time it was Novotel Fujairah. A decent stay with the family. Location too was good, except for the construction works going on...we had to take rather a longer route while returning to the room from Khorfakkan beach.

Friendly and professional staff ,, quite witch is excellent for me but the mattress is not very comfortable ,, Good price for executive suite ,, I think it’s the best hotel in Fujairah at the moment,,

Disappointing experience

Very disappointed with the general cleanliness of the hotel. A very strong smell of cigarettes hits you as soon as you enter the property. I had to change my initial suite due to strong cigarette smell, and the very dirty and stained carpet. The suite I was moved to was on a non smoking floor, but the condition of the carpet was very bad with many stains and a general dirty look. Despite having pre-ordered our meals for a party of 12 some 2 days prior to our visit, and being one of only 2 other tables in the Jet Set Bistro, we were still waiting for food 90 minutes later. When it came, it was cold. The hotel did waive all charges for the food and wine, which did help pacify us somewhat, but it was generally a bad experience all round. The hotel has severe staffing issues, and felt chaotic and sub standard. I would not choose to stay here again.

Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem with the carpet as we have identified that the anti-stain treatment is faulty and despite the carpets being thoroughly cleaned we are unable to remove the stains. We are in dispute with the manufacturer and hope to resolve this issue soon. We appreciate that this explanation does not change the fact that you were unsatisfied but I want to assure you of the cleanliness of the room. We are also sorry that you received service that prompted you to contact us with your complaint about the Bistro and we regret any inconvenience or frustration that your experience has caused you. Following that evening we are already in the process of implementing changes in our operation to prevent this from happening in the future. Your experience is not indicative of the standards we aspire to offer and we hope you will consider staying with us in the future. As you may have read in other reviews we receive very positive feedback on our services and team; and I am confident given the opportunity, we can provide you with a memorable and enjoyable stay. We had an awesome stay at the Novotel Fujairah. Great food and brilliant service. Special thanks to Ghayas at the front desk for making our stay a memorable one and Shanaka at the pool bar for going the extra mile in service delivery. We will surely return in the near future.
