Good location, expected a better hotel

Good: Location is right next to a very large shopping centre with lots of restaurants and shops. Free shuttle bus to DisneyLand (though the earliest one back is 17:45 which is frustrating). Nice Reception area. Only a 20-min easy flat walk to Disney. Good kitchen utilities otherwise. Bad: Tried to check-in at 3pm and told no room available and would have to wait, 15 mins later told we have been “upgraded” as room we booked not available but the room we got was as originally expected (so not sure what the upgrade was or what was going on). The walls are not sound proofed like a normal hotel and you can hear other guests easily all day and night. This is not helped by the ridiculous cabinets and kitchen doors which have no handles (why???) and so unavoidably slam shut which creates constant banging around the hotel. The bedroom wardrobe door was broken and stuck. The bath is unusually small. Many of the TV Channels do not work. No iron / ironing board.

Omg this hotel doesn’t even deserve one star I would recommend no stars as it is that bad no not bad absolutely terrible. I wouldn’t even let my dogs stay in this hotel. The first room they gave me smelt of smoke and I requested a non-smoking room second one literally was so filthy there was crumbs all over the table all over the floor bugs in the shower. I had people the floor above me banging moving to furniture till 11:30 at night and to top it all off they stole some my clothing when I confronted them, they didn’t care one bit I said but you’ve stolen they just say go to the police I said no I’m literally this is your matter and they say it’s not their staff the cleaning company is a private company but I said but you’re letting them work on your premises so it is your problem. They don’t deserve to have Accor a big brand name that holds novetel to that name you don’t even know if they work there because they’re not wearing the hotel companies logo on their clothing they look absolutely scruffy. The manager doesn’t even look like a manager doesn’t even have a name tag saying she’s a manager and all she says is not my problem. You just have to call the police so now I’ve lost clothing and they don’t even care that they’ve stolen something I would say to anyone do not go there. If you want something to be stolen, go there if not do not go there at all. I would not recommend it to anyone. They should even just shut that hotel down it is that bad.

What a mistake it was to stay here.

Quite simply, Horrible. Stayed here in October for 4 nights and I couldn't wait for it to be over. We very nearly cut the holiday short as it was not a pleasant place to stay. On first impressions when you walk into the reception, it doesn't appear to be too bad. We were allocated room 238 and went up in the lift to come out into a grubby lobby area and then out on an area that i can only describe as being like the Jasmin Allen estate off "The Bill". When we got into the room, it was dark, dingey and in desperate need of refurbishment. A very small bedroom with a three quarter bed in it and a wardrobe and not a lot more. The bathroom was basic with a towel radiator that didn't work and when this was reported I was told that it wasn't being fixed as they were waiting for more of them to fail before they would do anything about it. The toilet was separate to the bathroom and was in a small room by itself with no window and the smell of urine was very strong inside it. Not pleasant at all. The main living area wasn't much better and was basic to say the least. We even had to ask for a kettle as there wasn't one there. I think the only positive thing to say about this place is that its close to Disney but there are plenty of other places to stay in the area and i'd strongly suggest you choose one of those instead. The underground car park is very tight to get in and out of too and they'll charge you 10 Euros a night to park there. It's a shame that this place is endorsed by Disney as it really shouldn't be. We certainly won't be coming back.

Wouldn’t recommend.

On arrival we were allocated a room With bunk beds, it was tiny and absolutely freezing. Spoke to reception who swapped us to a family room. Very clean, good facilities in room. Wash room was too small to dress in, toilet even smaller. Myself and my 13 year old daughter went down for breakfast on day 1. 19 euros for stale bread, and attitude from the staff. Pancake machine empty, Nutella empty, bread stale and not re filled, when asking the staff to rectify these, I was met with sighs and rolling eyes. A very negative stay.

Honestly the hotel couldn’t have done enough for us it was amazing so good for the kids breakfast was okay but the kids loved the pancakes everything was nice and clean stayed in room 114 and was great! Free shuttle bus opposite the hotel was great to I can’t fault the hotel!
