A message to a group of very special people who make special things happen❤️ we hosted our daughter and son in law’s wedding there and that was the best decision ever. Both set of parents, bride, groom and all the guests cannot stop appreciating the 3 days spent there. Everything was just perfect. Ayush “aapne bhai ka farz poore dil se nibhaya”🤗🥰 you and Rhea made Simran’s dream of the bridal entry in the boat come true❤️ in the adverse weather with water splashing and high winds you ensured it happened and you and Rhea were there hiding in the back of the boat 😃to support her. I will never forget that gesture🙏🏻🙏🏻The food was simply exquisite and each and everyone came and thanked us and blamed us when their stomachs were overfull but eyes were not. Nothing was too much for you and your team and everything was yes maam “aur kya khaoge”. thank you for inviting us the immediate family to the Friday brunch, feeding comfort food to the bride and groom through room service and the awesome high tea set up at the bridal henna.. I can still taste the awesome samosas. All this would have not been possible without the men with the golden fingers .. a special shout out to chef Subhadeep and Chef Ranjeet for the fabulous spread that they laid out with a smile over and over again. The quality , variety and presentation was so good that some guests said it was like the Ambani wedding spread. Each dish had its unique flavor and couple of the parsee dishes we added was very much appreciated by my relatives who even grudgingly admitted it was better than what they have had at parsee weddings.. prepared by expert parsee caters. The show stoppers were the nali nihari, laal Maas, fresh oven baked pizzas, saffron risotto and mushroom risotto , and Kathi rolls to name a few. Thank you to chef Marco who made sure the festivities started on a high by making the cooking class possible. The dessert room was just a super hit with all the guests with a sweet tooth and each dessert was more delectable than the other.. Dharmender without you and your team the excellent food would not have been justified. The kindness,care and love with which you and your team fed us was heart warming. Special mention to Ankit and everyone who didn’t tire of saying “ aur kya laon.. thoda aur le lo”. Serving 300 plus people tirelessly over and over again is commendable. Atif beta, yes the magical sunset did bring a lot of tears to my eyes as did many other occasions “ beti ki shadi thi ❤️🤗🤗people could not get over the luxury of the bridal and Opera suites.. simply stunning You have spoilt us so much that we will never be able to come to Sofitel and stay in anything less than a prestige suite.. the rooms and suites were extremely comfortable and early check in was very much appreciated by all the guests.. Emylou, Frederica and Rowena thank you for all the behind the scenes hard work to ensure the stay was perfect. I would like to end with my favorite author Maya Angelous quote “ people will forget what you said and forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel” I can honestly say we all left with a heart ❤️filled with gratitude, love and beautiful memories. I have an ulterior motive to recommend your hotel as it felt so much like home I want to come back again and again.

From the valet/concierge, to checking in/ reservations team, housekeeping, room service team, restaurant staff at breakfast and the pool and beach and the day and night managers, we were blown away by how kind, welcoming and conscientious everyone is. You are welcomed with open arms by absolutely every single staff member. I was extremely lucky to have been upgraded to The Prestige Suite and WOW I was blown away. Everything about this suite gives princess treatment and it’s beautiful. The luxury rooms are the same, you are blown away by how beautiful they are and how big too. I visit The Sofitel quite often by myself for down time from work life but this time I was lucky enough to meet my mother & aunty there from the UK. And they were blown away with everything about the hotel and agree with everything above. THANK YOU to ALL at The Sofitel for a truly magical 5 night stay.

Pros- Beautiful Sea views, Large clean rooms, Nice pools, Different varied restaurants on site with great food, Buffet breakfast very plentiful with hot food stations, but tea/coffee takes too long and not a good choice available on fruit. Friday Brunch was great food, music and entertainment. Very good facilities for children everywhere on site. Seems a popular wedding venue. Cons- Sections are closed and some food items not even available if an outside function is happening during your stay. Difficult to get served anyway in alacarte restaurants but buffet is ok. Also too noisy and likely to get deafened with the music and unable to sleep.

We stayed in one of the private villas at Sofitel Bahrain and honestly had a great time. The place was really comfortable and perfect for relaxing. I want to mention our butler Mohammed because he really made the stay special. He was always around when we needed something, and he arranged everything smoothly without making it feel formal or complicated. Just very friendly and really helpful. Overall we enjoyed the villa, the privacy, and the service. Would definitely come back again.

We were looking forward to a relaxing seven night stay at Sofitel Bahrain. On the fourth day we had planned to switch rooms later in the day, but an incident during checkout from our initial room left us extremely uncomfortable. Despite the Do Not Disturb sign being clearly displayed, a male staff member entered our room unannounced prior to checkout time while my wife was alone with our 18-month-old baby. She had just stepped out of the shower in her robe and was visibly shaken standing by the bed. Yet the male staff member still had the audacity to stand there and ask whether she was checking out. This was a major violation of privacy and basic guest safety. I immediately reported the incident to the hotel manager and provided full details, but nearly 48 hours later we have received no follow up or response. While the property itself is beautiful, this experience overshadowed our stay completely. I hope management takes this seriously, as this level of disregard for guest privacy and poor management response is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a five-star resort.
