We stayed 2 nights and given it’s good location to old town it was less than we expected in the hotel. Being Platinum member we expected an upgrade as the hotel was not full, one welcome drink and no upgrade we did not use any of the hotel services so we cannot comment , The room was adequate, coffee and tea of unknown labels we untouched. Short walk to reasonably priced restaurants.

Dear, Although understanding and attentive, your comment saddens me. Because you haven’t been upgraded so you’re sulking! Madam, Sir, if you have not been upgraded it is because we were not able to do so. We are professional enough to meet the requirements and wishes of our regular customers based on their loyalty and card status. We are experiencing “overactivity” at this time and you are absolutely not aware of it; Which proves how conscientious, involved and professional our teams are. We are a victim of our success and cannot respond to all the daily “upgrade” requests that we receive. Although you have a “platinum” status, which you read binds you to an identity, the latter does not place you above the “melee” as you imply. You are not a priority compared to diamond, limitless and other regular customers that we welcome every day and who also request upgrades. Among our many “platinum” clients that we welcome every day, we prioritize and sometimes we create frustrations; Some accept it with courtesy and others sulk. However, the status of a card is not the salvation of the soul, we allocate rooms based on the reservations received each day. Your comment saddens me about the evolution of mentalities, about the total lack of discernment, about common sense. Would frustration then be the source of deep discomfort to expose your poor, intolerable suffering to everyone's eyes? Very dear Sir or Madam, I wish you a very beautiful day and a good journey. I believe my fourth stay at this hotel, usually whilst motorcycle touring with my wife or friends. Staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and secure with an added bonus of location on the banks of the Loire.

We stoped here on our way back from the Vendée so we could see the Chateau and town, Location - 10 minute walk across the bridge into the main town. Hotel - Clean, modern, the views from the bar terrace across to the chateau are amazing. The rooms felt modern and the bed really comfortable. Parking - we were able to park outside the front of the hotel for free and we understand there is also parking underground on request. Overall great value for the location and service - would recommend if you are stopping in the area.

Situated across the river from the town you get tremendous views across to the Château and life on the river. Hotel was clean, reception friendly and the bedrooms fine and air conditioned! If you can, get a river side room. Breakfast was excellent and staff friendly and ensuring items were replenished. Only gripe was bar closing at 11pm on the dot and the only draught beer was Heineken! Plenty parking as well.

This Hotel on the Loire was so good, we booked it again on our return journey. The staff and delightful and helpful, the rooms are perfect and the beds are the best we stayed in on our month's tour through France. We have already recommended this hotel to a friend, who has booked. Highly recommend this Hotel - thank you for looking after us so well.
