동유럽을 열번도 넘게 왔지만 비엔나를 처음 방문하면서 1초의 망설임도 없이 비엔나 소피텔을 선택했다. 여행의 목적중 하나는 편안한 숙박및 더불어 호텔 룸에서 편안히 즐기는 야경을 추구하기에 이 호텔을 선택했고 내선택은 최고였다. 또한 얼리 체크인과 업그레이드를 해주신 리셉션 직원에게 진심으로 감사드리며 룸까지 캐리어를 옮겨주심 너무나도 친절하신 Dali 님께도 진심으로 감사드립니다. 다시 비엔나를 방문한다면 그때도 망설임 없이 소피텔을 선택할것 입니다.

비싸지만 신혼여행이기에 좋은숙소를 찾다가 소비엔나호텔로 예약했습니다. 체크인 시간보다 먼저 도착했는데 짐도 맡아주시고 체크인후 방에 들어가보니 뷰도 좋고 기분 좋게 첫날을 보냈습니다. 악몽은 두번째날부터 시작되었습니다. 아침에 샤워를 하고 외출을 하고 오니 물이 샌건지 바닥에 물이 많이 있었습니다. 쓰고 남은 수건으로 바닥을 닦았습니다. 잠시뒤 직원분이 오셔서 욕조확인을 하고 갔습니다. 물기가 있는 바닥을 보고 아무런 조치가 없었습니다. 대충 알아서 닦고 쉬어라 라는 느낌을 받았습니다. 물이 새서 바닥이 더러워졌으면 방을 바꿔준다는지 그런 피드백이 없었습니다. 그리고 다시 외출을 했고 저녁에 돌아와 빈에서의 마지막날을 기념하며 18층에 있는 바를 이용할려고했습니다. 근사한 옷들을 입고 즐기는 사람들이 많았습니다. 그런데 우리는 이용을 못하게 했습니다. 입구에서 바는 오늘 오픈 안한다. 이용할수 없다라고해서 기분이 아주 안좋았습니다. 우리는 연락받은 내용도 없었습니다. 다른사람들은 즐기고 있는데 왜 안되는건지 이유도 모르고 비싸게 예약한건데 바 이용하는 서비스도 결제내용에 포함된게 아닌가요? 블로그 보면서 열심히 찾아서 고르고 고른 숙소였는데 완전 실망했습니다. 신혼여행으로 갔는데 괜히 돈만 많이 쓰고 제대로 된 기본혜택도 못 받고 기분만 상해서 돌아왔네요.

This is certainly not the standard we aim for, and we fully understand how disappointing this must have been for you. Regarding the rooftop bar: we are very proud that it is so popular with both hotel guests and locals. However, as it is located on the 18th floor, we must strictly comply with fire safety regulations, which unfortunately means that access cannot always be guaranteed. The safety of our guests is our top priority, and we regret that this impacted your evening and that the situation was not communicated clearly in advance. We would genuinely appreciate the opportunity to show you that the SO/ Vienna experience is usually much better than what you encountered. 비엔나를 방문하게 되면 꼭 가봐야겠다고 생각했던 호텔이 소피텔이었는데 이번에 크리스마스 마켓구경하러 가면서 소피텔을 드디어 예약하고 갔습니다. 위치는 시내 한복판이 아니어서 오히려 더 좋았습니다. 도보권으로도 가능하고 24시간 이용권을 끊었다면 호텔 길 건너에 있는 트램과 지하철을 이용하기에도 아주 편리한 곳에 위치해 있었습니다. 호텔 내부는 굉장히 깔끔했으며 아기와 함께 가다보니 유모차가 있었는데 호텔 문을 쉽게 이용 할 수 있게 문을 열어주셔서 감사했습니다. 또 아기와 함께 자기 위하여 킹 객실로 예약 했는데 객실 내부가 정말 넓고 깨끗해서 아기가 기고 걷기에 아주 좋았으며 욕조도 넓어서 물놀이 하기에도 좋았습니다. 뷰 또한 스테판 성당 뷰여서 인스타에 사진 한컷 올리기에도 아주 좋았구요, 또 다음날 조식을 이용하기 위하여 루프탑으로 갔는데 비가 쏟아지던 날이라 밝은 해는 못봤지만 비가 구슬처럼 흘러 내리는 것을 보면서 이것 또한 운치가 있다고 생각하였습니다. 또 레스토랑 직원은 무척이나 친절 하였으며 계속 해서 필요한것이 있는지 확인해주었습니다. 그리고 아기를 위한 귀여운 인형도 선물해주어서 집에 와서까지도 인형을 안고 자고 있습니다. 비엔나 옆 나라에 살기 때문에 종종 비엔나를 들리는데 다음 투숙도 다다음 투숙도 비엔나 소피텔에서 할 것입니다. 저와 제 남편에게 아주 좋은 기억을 남겨준 소피텔 직원 여러분께 감사말씀 드립니다.
