Probably the worst executive lounge I’ve ever experienced in such luxury brands hotel in China. Most of the food and wines were ran out at 7pm, and guests seated on next table received pan-fried scallops which is not on the a-la-carte menu but we get nothing but only a bowl of soup even we’re early arrived at the lounge. We have to clean the table and used tableware by ourselves. We tried to reach lounge staff and asked for some light bites or refill the light buffet items, but unfortunately they ran out the most food and desserts since “we’re not excepting such high volume of customers arrived”. Avoid this Sofitel property in Guangzhou was my best option! The service was not matched the Executive Suite we booked for this stay.

My go to Hotel in Guangzhou!

This hotel is great for the price amazing five star service good amenities, pool, gym annd sauna and wonderful breakfast always a standard from Sofitel. Views are amazing get corner wrap around room! Mathew front desk is great! Thank you we will be back soon!

The hotel is in a great and convenient location. The interior of the hotel and room are maintained well. We like the classic and French touches throughout the hotel. We especially enjoyed the elite executive lounge food, drinks, services, and nice views. Meena took great care of us at the lounge. She was friendly, attentive, and went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. The general manager has also made a great impression on us by sending us a welcome gift to the room and personally came to meet us. Overall we had a very pleasant experience at the hotel and will definitely come back when we are in Guangzhou!

Our 1st time in Guang Zhou. Not only hotel upgraded our room to higher floor, they even surprised us with complimentary breakfast for our entire stay as I am Accor gold member. Hotel lobby looks posh & classy & rooms/bathrooms were nicely designed too! Beds were comfortable & hotel staffs are mostly very friendly. Indoor pool (pls rem to bring a swimmimg cap) cum jacuzzi & a gym & spa facilities. 7-11 just round the corner in hotel vicinity. Though it is not too near the subway but is still walkable to Tiyuxilu (~1.5km) or Linhexi apm lines. Many shopping malls in TianHeChen area. Looking forward to our next trip to GZ & stay in Sofitel Sunrich! Thank you for the Wonderful Stay & Memories!

In a single word I would say it’s fully reliable & comfortable …..

Sofitel Guangzhou is always reliable.. I can’t think about staying in any other hotel when I go to Guangzhou because it always gives us the feeling of home, a comfort works because of long time with them, so I would say it was comfortable, it will be comfortable in the future.
