立地やホテルの雰囲気、子供たちが楽しめるような企画や設備など、総合的に良かったが、ハウスキーパーが、2日目の部屋のバスマットを置いていなかったり、ジャグジーが壊れているのか、ボタンを押しても使えなかったりなどした。どちらもなくても困らなかったので特に連絡はしなかったが、良い気持ちはしなかった。また以前、プーケットに滞在した際のホテルは4つ星のホテルだが、働いているスタッフ全てがとても柔らかい雰囲気で、優しく、フレンドリーで、ハウスキーパーやポーターも廊下で会う度ににこりと笑って挨拶をしてくれるので楽しい雰囲気やホスピタリティをとても感じたが、今回はあまり感じなかった。 とはいえ、Hong Islan へは目の前のビーチから行ける便利さや、ビーチへの道に交通安全の為のスタッフを常駐させるなどの配慮はとても良く感じられた。
