forgot a my girlfriends purse tried to go back once we realized we forgot it, tried to get it back, the purse was gone, the janitor stole it, the purse A LOT OF MONEY IN IT

The room is large, furnished with a king size bed, very comfortable. However, the bed sheets are stained. There are a lot of wear marks on the furniture that betray the age of the last update of the place. I found several stains on the walls that indicate a lack of maintenance. The lampshade of the floor lamp, placed next to the sofa bed, is stained. The window blind is damaged and does not work very well. Despite the wear and tear of the furniture and stains everywhere, the room is clean. Noisy air conditioning system.

I've waited to post a review to provide this company a chance to reply to my concerns but apparently they can't be bothered to do so. My family of four stayed here two weeks ago for my daughter's soccer tournament. We noticed that when we returned from the field that the door to our room was unlocked. We tried a few times and realized that we couldn't get it to lock at all. We called the front desk and someone came up promptly. They looked at the door lock and said it was broken. Unfortunately they didn't have any other rooms to accommodate us. We were told "don't leave anything valuable in your room" and that they would give us a rebate. Not helpful at all. Come checkout time the next day (after we had to leave someone behind to ensure the security of our personal items in our room) I found out the "rebate" they were offering was $50 off the final bill. So you expect me to pay $450 for two nights in a room that doesn't even lock??? Obviously I was not very impressed and asked to speak with the manager. I was provided the email for the GM. Sent an email within two hours of checkout and still haven't heard anything back.... Talk about terrible customer service. Don't stay here. They can't even provide the basics of security that a hotel should have. Even the worst motels would at least offer a room with a door that locked. Completely unacceptable!!!

For a Novotel brand I would say this is a poor example of what they can offer. We didn't enjoy our stay. The staff on the front desk when we checked in were very rude, and continued to be rude during our entire stay. Which was 4 nights due to us attending the Grand Prix. Breakfast was included in our stay however we were informed that they don't offer that included in the price. However, paperwork and confirmation from our travel agent said that we did, we chose to eat elsewhere as what they had on offer wasn't very exciting. The bar staff of an evening were fantastic. We were woken to an abusive male which ended up being domestic violence and the Police were called in, in the early hours of the morning. Not pleasant at all. We would not be returning. Also no laundry service available at all.

Wasn’t bad! There’s not much else to say. Went during march break and it was quite empty and it is a bit of a far drive from downtown montreal, so I wouldn’t recommend it for tourists. Much better to book somewhere closer (Unless you’re staying for a long time and want somewhere close to the airport)
