A very down market hotel experience

The only good thing is it's location but that results in traffic noise, see below. As a premium hotel called a 'Styles' it has no style at all, just a tired attempt at cheap art which turns it into a down market property. As a Brit I'm used to coffee/tea making in my room, no, you have to leg it down to the public foyer in your pyjamas to make tea! On complaining that the room was far too hot, management stated they always turn off the air conditioning at the end of August and couldn't do anything about it apart from opening the windows, which of course gave us traffic noise all night. This together with the endless humming noise from the constant bathroom fan resulted in a very poor sleep experience. Consequently, this experience together with an almost useless online booking system, will be my last attempt using Accor.

Concerning in-room tea and coffee facilities, they are not part of the ibis Styles brand standards. However, we take note of your remark and will consider how we can improve accessibility and comfort for guests with this preference. We would like to sincerely apologise about the room temperature and the ventilation noise. The air-conditioning is deactivated seasonally, but it is clear that the situation you experienced was uncomfortable, and we should have handled it more effectively. We are currently reviewing our procedures to ensure that this does not negatively impact our guests in the future. We are also concerned to read your remark about the booking process, and we will ensure that this feedback is shared with the relevant teams. We fully recognise that your stay did not reflect the standards of experience that we strive to deliver. Great stay in centre of historic Dinan!

Great hotel, in the heart of historic Dinan. We were lucky there was a music festival in the square right outside which was fabulous. Hotel location is great, and underground parking right next door. Room was very comfortable, with a good bathroom and shower. Nice lounge and breakfast area, all very comfortable. Lovely staff who were very helpful whenever needed. Highly recommended all round, and very good value.

Great Location Tiny Room

It’s worth a one night stopover in this cute town, but, the place is cramped and claustrophobic. We hardly had room to turn around in our room. Breakfast was better than expected, parking next door - for a fee - and an attractive town to wander about.

Our room and bath were super clean. The bed was firm but comfy. Checkin took 30 seconds. The breakfast was early and excellent. We walked to the Olde Town and shopped in the neighborhood. Parking was a 3min walk underground and about 15 euros. Helpful friendly staff

Great hotel and fantastic location with option for parking underground very near. We had car trouble on way to hotel and they helped with English/French translation when talking to garage, they also helped extend our stay until car fixed. The room good size, would rather have tea and coffee in room. The air conditioning was great too on some very hot humid days, would stay again.
