Pros - Top notch housekeeping, clean and quick laundry service - High-ranking hotel staff speak English fluently, and some younger staff also speak English well, even the staff who don't speak English have a great attitude in trying to help me in any way they can - Spacious and clean rooms - A well-maintained garden is great for taking pictures Cons - The spa facilities appear to need renovation 중국어를 모르는 한국인에게 중국은 여행 난이도가 높은 편이지만, 여기서 묵으면서 많은 도움을 받았기에 이번 여행은 어려움이 없었습니다. I recently stayed here with my friend. The location is great, the design is good, the price point is good. But what made this experience exceptional was the customer service, kindness and care from two of its staff - Andy on concierge and Duren (I hope I am spelling name correctly) the Duty Manager. During my stay I very suddenly fell ill and both were critical to ensuring my issue was resolved promptly, I was checked into a good hospital and I had someone by side throughout who could assist us. Duren drove us to the hospital immediately and Andy stuck with us during the 6+ hours in the hospital. He translated everything, he spoke and liaised with the doctors, he gave us company and kept our spirits up. After his official shift time finished, he said he was going back to the hotel to get changed. By this point he had already resolved everything for us, I just needed to finish my IV drip and then leave the hospital. He could have said goodbye, but instead Andy went back, got changed out of his uniform, and came back with snacks for us to ensure we checked out of the hospital with no problems. His kindness was just so appreciated and something we will never forget! Duren and Andy I hope you, somehow, are recognized for going beyond the call of duty in this situation. I can't imagine, many other hotels that I have stayed at providing this level of care. I am certain I will be back in Xi'An so I can visit the city properly and I will definitely be staying again in Sofitel! Best wishes to you both. H

Delightful stay at this upscale hotel. The rooms were very large and comfortable and beautifully furnished. The room was very quiet. The hotel restaurant was very good and the staff were very helpful. A good variety of foods was available. Enjoyed the evening candle lighting ceremony.

I stayed 2 nights at the Sofitel Renmin Square. From the moment I walked in until leaving I can not fault the service and room Quality. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hotel has a calm atmosphere and the room service food was excellent and delivered very quickly. The staff were most welcoming- I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Xi'an as so many do for the wonderful terracotta soldiers and horses nearby.

i've been here for two nights...wonderful hotel in a private park...Sofitel is a guarantee... big and spacious room...wonderful breakfast with a lot of choices and variety...staff very nice and helpful...if i'll come back to Xi'An i will definetely stay here
