Our Stay at Mercure Hotel Seef

We travelled to Bahrain with my grandson for a spotting event, we had 2 rooms , we stayed at the hotel for 11 nights, 5 of us had our breakfast at the hotel every morning we found staff to be exceptionally polite and helpful, they basically couldn't do enough for you , we had dinner once at the hotel and that was enough, the took a long time and when it eventually arrived only 4 of us got our food , the chips were cold and limp we could not eat them, the meat was way over cooked it was to hard to eat , half an hour later my grandson got his meal after we all finished and ended up not eating it, the meal , we expressed our dissatisfaction to our waiter and the front desk yet we were fully charged for the meal, we made the call not to have dinner at the hotel anymore . the hotel is very rundown and the cleanliness of the rooms is questionable one of our rooms ( room 410) had many light globs missing in the master bathroom, 2 tiles falling off , the toilet paper holder broken and kept falling off, the air conditioning was very temperamental, we complained several times to reception at one time we saw the manager and they sent the engineer , once we were told the unit was frozen because it was set up very low, the 2nd time the power switch outside has tripped, the 3rd time the gas was low, we suffered many sleepless nights due to the inefficiency of the air con, at the end we gave up, keeping towelling supply consistent was a nightmare , this is a very simple process we had 3 people staying in room 410 and 2 in room 406 , we should have the correct number of towels / bath mats for each room , that was a major challenge to achieve , the rooms were not cleaned properly at all , i don't think the the common parts were vacuumed once while we were there for almost 2 weeks, a couple of times we noticed room service food treys left outside guests rooms for 3 days as we past them every morning , at the end i had to report it to get them moved them it happens again, basically if we were to return to Bahrain again we will never stay at this hotel .

very very poor service and very dirty. smell of water is too bad and sofa is full of dirt. Additionally, receptionist we met was extremely uncooperative . we had emergency at midnight and did not react positively. the only good things was the breakfast verity and staff in restaurant

I was under huge pressure to complete my official documents in Bahrain, Miss Haidi and her colleagues were very much helpful which made my stay easier as I was extending my stay in the hotel on daily basis and for 15 continuous days. Great location. Very friendly staff. Only problem that my room was next to service elevator and that made it noisy. Breakfast was good with fresh omlettes and waffles. Would have been nice if cappuccino was also offered.

The best thing in this hotel is the location, Ahmed the manager gave me a good offer for stays more that a month, and he provided washing machine inside the room plus free pickup from the airport, but unfortunately the rooms need to renovate, bedsheets and towels are dirty, didn't get shampoo and conditioners for almost one week, but after I informed them they started to add them, one day he didn't even add a towel so I asked the cleaning boy to add one for me, he said I'm sorry mom we don't have!!!! then I told him its a hotel not apartment go get me one, kitchen is empty I asked them to bring some plates, cups and a pan, Lastly they don't clean the plates and pan nicely

The Mercure is ideally situated near several malls with good restaurants. The staff all provided great service and made your stay easy. During period of COVID there was good housekeeping and the room service was really good with an excellent choice of well prepared good value meals.

Dear respected dear, I would like to thank the hotel management for the worst of the night in the history of my life, as it is no secret to you that I did not receive any respect and appreciation from the moment I entered to the moment of my exit, neither from the receptionist, nor from the manager, nor from the room service, I entered the room and had many stains on the bed And dirt, several teeth cleaning was requested and it was not delivered for more than 45 minutes and I spoke with the manager personally to inform him of what happened but without regard to me and the simplest rights I did not receive from the hotel management such as not to mention the style of communication with the employees

I had a nice comfortable stay at Mercure Grand Hotel Seef. I was upgraded to 2-bedroom suite, which was very nice. The breakfast was much better than last stay, they had added huge variety of food items; and staff was very efficient & courteous. The check-in & check-out was very smooth along with parking available inside hotel. The only problem I had was with the biker gangs who assemble near the hotel vicinity on weekends, and its disturbing in the early morning.

The location of the hotel is excellent, since it is near to Seef Mall that has Cinco two cinemas and near to diversity of food restaurants at Al-Aali mall. The kitchen equipment are less than adequate.

Really large room, good facilities, large comfortable bed, good seating area with TV showing good selection of channels. Close to shopping malls. 20 mins from airport. Pool area closes at 5 pm thought, a little early.

The hotel location is great however the rooms are tired and checkin was slow. I did not use the restaurants as there are many options close by or the the gym. The price was competitive and would likely stay again

The room was actually a 2 bedroom appartment - quite spacious for one single person :-)overall, good facilities and service. The plugs were GB style, so, make sure you have an adaptator. Breakast with wide variety of food - staff nice and accommodating.
