We travelled to Bahrain with my grandson for a spotting event, we had 2 rooms , we stayed at the hotel for 11 nights, 5 of us had our breakfast at the hotel every morning we found staff to be exceptionally polite and helpful, they basically couldn't do enough for you , we had dinner once at the hotel and that was enough, the took a long time and when it eventually arrived only 4 of us got our food , the chips were cold and limp we could not eat them, the meat was way over cooked it was to hard to eat , half an hour later my grandson got his meal after we all finished and ended up not eating it, the meal , we expressed our dissatisfaction to our waiter and the front desk yet we were fully charged for the meal, we made the call not to have dinner at the hotel anymore . the hotel is very rundown and the cleanliness of the rooms is questionable one of our rooms ( room 410) had many light globs missing in the master bathroom, 2 tiles falling off , the toilet paper holder broken and kept falling off, the air conditioning was very temperamental, we complained several times to reception at one time we saw the manager and they sent the engineer , once we were told the unit was frozen because it was set up very low, the 2nd time the power switch outside has tripped, the 3rd time the gas was low, we suffered many sleepless nights due to the inefficiency of the air con, at the end we gave up, keeping towelling supply consistent was a nightmare , this is a very simple process we had 3 people staying in room 410 and 2 in room 406 , we should have the correct number of towels / bath mats for each room , that was a major challenge to achieve , the rooms were not cleaned properly at all , i don't think the the common parts were vacuumed once while we were there for almost 2 weeks, a couple of times we noticed room service food treys left outside guests rooms for 3 days as we past them every morning , at the end i had to report it to get them moved them it happens again, basically if we were to return to Bahrain again we will never stay at this hotel .

very very poor service and very dirty. smell of water is too bad and sofa is full of dirt. Additionally, receptionist we met was extremely uncooperative . we had emergency at midnight and did not react positively. the only good things was the breakfast verity and staff in restaurant

It was short but nice stay. All thing were more than expectable. The staff were nice and helpful. Tha place was clean and tidy. I will recommend this place for my friends in the future. I enjoyed staying in mercure grand hotel seef.

I was under huge pressure to complete my official documents in Bahrain, Miss Haidi and her colleagues were very much helpful which made my stay easier as I was extending my stay in the hotel on daily basis and for 15 continuous days. As I’m station manager for airlines ground services company I really know what excellent and professional services means which I have experience from your staff. The receptionist staff were very nice and helpful in addition to their welcome smile which I always notice it every time i check in. The hotel location is near shopping malls and coffee shops which you can walk without using your car
