We held an annual national event from the Perpusnas, we chose this hotel because it was indeed the center in the capital of Central Java province. The hotel looks like an old building. But it's perfect for holding a big event here. Because this hotel has several meeting rooms. The service is very good, all friendly staff always greet and smile. I thank Mbak Septi as a sales marketing for handling us. Our Pax is quite large 43 pax and we booked a fullboard meeting for five days. June 3-7, 2024, very suitable for meeting events. We are in the merbabu room. The breakfast is quite complete, the lunch and dinner are okay. But I don't have comb amenities in my room. I have to ask him to the receptionist. So far okay. I trust with Accor group. Excellent service and treatment. good job👍

Out-of-date hotel, unfortunate experience

I booked a superior room. There’s nothing superior in the room which is very stained, surfaces are striped and seen best days. Bathroom is not convenient, tabs and toilet seat very bad. There’s an adjustment knob in air-conditioning but still only “on/off” in practice. The worst thing for me is the tobacco smell. This should be non-smoking room and floor but there’s a musty smell all time and also coming from elsewhere. Sad to say but this hotel may have been okay 20 years ago. Many things are not in shape. Perhaps some public areas are okay but that’s enough if your room is a very bad one. Good things are the gym and pool area.

Need maintenance

Stayed overnight for business trip, the only thing I like only the size of the room. Other that really need more maintenance and improvements. The kettle couldn’t stop itself when it’s boiled. The bathtub couldn’t be used as only the shower worked. Shower gel filled with water, no gel inside. No hand towel. This morning went down for breakfast. I like fruit coffee bread for breakfast. They all were not interesting, the fruit was not fresh, the coffee was horrible (had latte from the machine). The jams OMG… tried mug beans porridge, it was very sweet, bubur ayam was the only food was OK to eat. Many food has finished and no additional from the kitchen (it was only 8)

Very disappointed, dirty room, outdated furniture, dirty windows, spooky toilet yet stain here and there, very very bad food quality, less variety and no taste, warm AC in the room, and the worst is that I found fly inside the room which is very disgusting. They should lower their star rating to 2 so people do not expect something high!

A three star hotel offering in a hotel that was likely four stars ten years ago

This is a three star hotel masquerading as a four star. The facilities and building itself are great, unfortunately poorly trained staff, derelict facilities and tired rooms bring this property down substantially. The breakfast was moderately disgusting. although they had choices the taste was off on many of the items as they were using old oil and the offering was just quantity not quality. The rooms were tired, old, and very much furnished to a three star standard. Perhaps the worst attribute was the poorly trained staff who just did not provide anything for platinum/diamond guests. They were ill informed and generally lazy. I left quite unimpressed.
